Water is very important to Māori. Creeks and rivers and lakes are very important to Māori. The use of water is very important to Māori. Having a say on how water is used is very important to Māori.
Water is very important to me too. I recognise the replenishing and cleansing of rainfall, I have empathy with lakes and rivers. I want a say on the use of water.
Water is very important to all of us. Without it, we can’t be.
