‘Daconomics’ bad, ‘evil coalition’ ok?

Greens upset with reference to ‘Daconomics’?

“Daconomics” Accusation Outrages Greens

The Overseas Investment (Restriction on Foreign Ownership of Land) Amendment Bill was defeated at its first reading tonight.

Jonathon Coleman said National would oppose the bill as it would essentially ban all sales of land to anyone but New Zealand residents and citizens.

He then outraged the Greens by accusing them of everything from being luddites through to practicing “Daconomics’’ by dreaming up the bill over a joint at their party conference.

But Russel Norman thinks ‘evil coalition’ is acceptable. The Dom Post reports:

Greens co-leader Russel Norman says his member’s bill to restrict foreign land ownership is likely to be narrowly defeated tonight by an ‘‘evil coalition’’.

Seems like selective sensitivities.

The Greens are a hyperthetical group of people who make little sense, and a lot of what they suggest is a worry. I am sure they are trying to take the country back to the stone ages.
