While Contrarian was obviously committing blog suicide this illustrates how blatantly hypocritical moderation is at The Standard:

[Contrary is fine. Mindless personal abuse isn't welcome. r0b].

From what I’ve seen and experienced mindless personal abuse has been rampant and encouraged by The Standard.

But I could be wrong. The personal abuse that r0b and other moderators at The Standard actively support seems to be welcomed by the moderators, mindful of giving their party activists a free rein to shut down anyone posting contrary to what they like.

And The Standard Labour activists wonder why their party hierarchy shuns them and doesn’t take them seriously.
