  1. A recurring theme to the defeat of Internet MANA within the mainstream media (MSM) and within many left circles, is that Kim Dotcom was the kiss of death to the nascent MANA. That for all it’s good intentions, MANA, courting a sort of political kryptonite, lacked the power or initiative to overcome this theme, and was irredeemably corrupted. This narrative however is just that, a narrative, and one driven by a bourgeois MSM exclusively directed by the morals of the ruling class. It makes no attempt to explain the underlying material conditions which;
    1. Drove the working class to vote according to the interest of the bourgeoisie.
    2. The historical events which propelled MANA and Dotcom into an unlikely alliance.

LOL. Nicolo Ward and Mike Treen and Joe Carolan and John Minto put in so much “hard work” for the Internet Mana Party prior to the election.

Their loud hailing at all of the Anti-Israel Rallys they organised, achieved nothing.

Going around to big employers like Sky City and Spark to enroll as many of their workers as they possibly could on the Electoral Roll, achieved nothing.

Putting up hundreds and hundreds of Internet Mana Election Billboards, achieved nothing.

They must have been absolutely gutted when Hone lost the Te Tai Tokerau seat, because they honestly thought they had the election in the bag.

I imagine they will all spend the next three years inciting as much worker unrest and organizing as many Union strikes as they possibly can, to try and achieve some utu against the Right Wing Government 🙂

  2. Thx for the opportunity Pete, just wonder what you & your readers think of the first bill in 51st parliament : employment amendment bill.. seen by many as a great leap to the RIGHT & further attack on workers rights. They say its about offering further ‘opportunity’ to both employers & employees, BUT all the talk is, that it will further empower the employers to, further remove workers rights (eg tea breaks, meal breaks & cut wages further).. whilst they increase company profits ?! One MP said in the debate its a jump back to the 19th century.. master/servant style society

Maybe it’s a a jump forward towards NWO master/servant style society. Ever notice how many times the word “alllow” is used incorrectly, eg “social media allows people to exchange ideas and opinions on a massive scale”?

I really like using the WordPress app to write comments on here. The black background with the white print, and the way all of the comments are set out on the page, makes it so reader friendly.

Just went over to have a wee look at the Whale, and found it so hard to read Cam Slaters posts, because since they have changed the font, you cant really tell what is an ad and what is Cams post.

Very few stimulating commenter’s in there now. Mostly just Whale Robots now. Sad.

Anybody else noticed that Cam Slater has done a deal with Flash Player, and has also been advertising for staff and commercial building via twitter.

It is so great to finally meet someone who is perhaps even less internet savvy than I am Pete. LOL.

The Freed logo looks very similar to the Adobe Flash Player logo. Both have cherry red backgrounds with a white letter “F” in the middle of it 🙂

        • Ha. I know what the Flash player is, I was puzzled what you meant by it.

I was invited to Like Freed on Facebook yesterday.

I see Travis and Cam as Likes there. It will be interesting to see how closely involved Cam is.

Peter Belt told me several months ago that Cam Slater had taken out a seven figure loan, to allow him to invest in the new media project.

            • That may partly explain why he is advertising so heavily at Whale Oil. The tone of advertising and donation seeking seemed to change markedly after “Dirty Politics” came out.

              The dots definitely join.

Cam Slater began his major campaign to pursue donations about halfway through July 2014, which was prior to the “Dirty Politics” book coming out.

Some geek, I think. Big on cartoons, but has a problem with spyware.
