Muslim condemnation of Charlie Hebdo killings

Muslims are often criticised for failing to condemn Islam related terrorism and this has happened over the Charlie Hebdo killings. It’s usually based on ignorance, I would guess that critics don’t even bother checking before making accusations of inaction.

It’s actually common for countries to condemn acts of terrorism. Including Muslim countries.

Charlie Hebdo killings condemned by Arab states – but hailed online by extremists

Arab governments and Muslim leaders and organisations across the world have condemned the deadly attack in Paris.

Saudi Arabia called it a “cowardly terrorist attack that was rejected by the true Islamic religion”. The Arab League and Egypt’s al-Azhar university – the leading theological institution in the Sunni Muslim world – also denounced the incident in which masked gunmen shouted “Allahu Akbar” – “god is great ” in Arabic.

Iran, Jordan, Bahrain, Morocco, Algeria and Qatar all issued similar statements.

How A muslim should respond to the haters —

1. Sabr (Patience )
2. Silence
3. Smile

Dear Brothers and Sisters — while going to work, masjid, mall or for a walk or anywhere if someone offends you or your family in anyways, please do not take the matter in your hand & respond, instead please call the police. New Zealand police are closely working with us and is giving us full support.

May ALLAH swt make it easy for all of us.

Talk is cheap. These are words of appeasement. The only bridges that need building are those that repatriate all Muslims to their countries of origin . . . they are neither use nor ornament anywhere, apart from a drain on resources and taxpayers.

Ian M and Alan W are correct. Crap. Freedom of speech but not as we know it. Two faced lying bullshitters. When the chips are down Muslims will stand with their Muslim tribe (without borders). When they say “Got your back” it means they stabbed you in it. The Saudis are responsible for funding much of this militancy and Qatar fund ISIS. The only reason they issue releases like this is because they are worried about their own skins.

Dear brothers and sisters (sisters being inferior beings) call the police. Are police not the ones these murderous bastards go for when they hold the upper hand?

The moment I read the words “Brothers and Sisters”, I lost interest in reading any further.

It’s only a matter of time before some of “Allah’s Nut-Bars” come slithering out of New Zealands woodwork, and target the Police or the Jewish community or maybe the Journalists who write for publication’s that are outspoken about Allah issues.

THE CUE LINE :-)This cinches it yet again. This wag the dog is so blatantly obvious, they totally butchered it.

Take a look in front of the car. There is a marker line there. Some have said this is just a fluid leak but it is obviously not, because in the next frames we see the continuity error – another line magically appears on the road at a 90 degree angle. Fluid leaks will not do that, they are obviously painted lines being used as cue marks for where to put the car, and this terror scene was done in multiple takes.

Oh, spare me. They’re damned if they say something, damned if they say nothing.

Do people assume that all Protestant Christians are like the Westboro Baptist nutter, Jim Jones and the Jonestown lot or the Waco and Ruby Ridge people ? Or like Destiny in NZ ? Do they assume that all Irish Catholics were/are IRA members, or all Southern Americans Klan members ? That all Maori people are gang members ? And so on.

There are many moderate Muslims who just want to go about their business like everyone else. I have had three Muslim GPs, and wasn’t afraid of them. The only GP I have ever been afraid of was a Pakeha who was a dirty old man. I don’t expect to be killed by my Muslim dentist, and his nurses don’t seem to either.

If they were all terrorists, they’d be doing terrorist acts.. They’re not, so they aren’t.

It’s bizarre to accuse people of generalisation when the accusers are doing the same thing.

It’s also bizarre that France, whose government bombed the Rainbow Warrior to prevent the freedom of expression that condemned nuclear testing in the Pacific and killed a man who was on it, should be demanding it for themselves. They threatened to ruin NZ’s EU trade if the terrorists’ 10 year sentences were carried out, and we all know that the three years that they were given were not served.

Do as I say, not as I do. The French government were prepared to commit murder to silence free speech. They now condemn others for doing the same.

Well Pete it is better than nothing, I suppose. As my grandmother used to say ‘better late than never, but better never late’. It is now coming up 15 years since 9/11 when we saw Muslims dancing in the streets in celebration. There has been plenty of opportunity for the Muslim community to speak up. forgive me for being cynical, but my view is that in the face of a potential public backlash the statements are appeasements only. I would need to see much more from the Muslim leadership than we have seen so far. Having said that the public statements following the terrorist attack in Sydney were encouraging.

According to the author of the UN Gang hen the World Trade Centres collapsed Muslims in the UN building a couple of k’s away were dancing. No cameras there. Kittycatkin’s GP may not kill her but he’ll / she’ll hide the Muslim that wants to.

A friend’s female doctor had married a Muslim many years ago and he died recently and she is very upset. His Muslim friends, who would not kill her, are telling her he died because he married her, a Roman Catholic and non Muslim. Nasty circle of aquaintances to have?

A handful of active Israeli military were among those detained, according to investigators, who say some of the detainees also failed polygraph questions when asked about alleged surveillance activities against and in the United States.” – Fox News, December 2001

This is another thoughtful and telling piece, by a Muslim journalist I think:

    • It’s a well written article. There’s a verse from the Quran: “there is no compulsion in religion”, but the interpretation is usually a narrow one. IMO Muslims would do well to learn from the Karaites, who hold that interpretation belongs to the reader rather than to the hierarchy.

Not one of the three women in that video looked upset at all as a result of the death of their relative or friend or lover.

Many many years ago a friend of mine was a Police Officer. His girlfriend confided in a friend, that he was going into Undercover Operations. Her friend accidentally sprung him. The Policeman and his girlfriend and her friend were as good at acting, as the women in that video.
