    Who is Paul Little???

I woke very early this morning and couldn’t get back to sleep so I surfed a bit and by 6ish I was bored enough to look in on the NZ newspapers.

There is a reason why they are my last go-to for news and as Stuff screamed “Key leaves girl in tears” I rolled my eyes and backed out and off to the Herald to find this… (I’m not even sure how to decribe it)…. this ‘piece’ from one Paul Little.

It might be a fit over at The Standard or some Socialist or Communist periodical but the NZ Herald???….oh wait….

I had clicked out by the third para but based on Budgie’s comment went back and read to the end. The wonder is not that there are people who think like this, but rather that there publishers and editors willing to co-operate.

May they get their just rewards.

I cannot beleve that Winston Peters seriously believes that a Pasifika man will relate better to prisoners because he IS Pasifika.Does he mean skin colour or ethnicity ? Or that as a Pasifika/brown person he will understand the criminal mind better ? That’s as absurd as thinking that an Indian would be great at the job if there were a lot of Chinese, Cambodian Filipino and other Asian prisoners because they’re all Asians.
