Here’s a nice little reminder of crazy Feminists are and what a feminist “man” looks like:

Belt finally “confesses” to his dodgy review. Says it was all part of the grand plan…Yeah, very clever endorsing a book when you have a pecuniary conflict of interest!

Think of the the flak he must be getting from the inner sanctum after breaking Whale’s golden rule of “explaining is losing”. That’ll be a cup of cold sick in the morning tea room.

And I thought they didn’t like trains and train-wrecks at WO, must’ve had a change of heart about that too.

I see Amazon has deleted some of Juana’s comments to OG’s review…

I bet the standardisas have been very, very busy on the Amazon complaint hotline. You can imagine how exercised and indignant they are. 😆

Someone asked if it was because Atsroturfing was illegal. Belt calls him a troll. lol They must have stayed up all night trying to figure how they were going to explain themselves to the dunces. Of course the dunces are all drooling and blaming lefties. Number 1 best seller is the headline. Category: Labor and industrial relations. Bet that’s a popular category.
Now he’s saying they’re wonderful because they’re allowing Owain Glyndwyrs review to stay. I don’t think they have a choice. You can’t delete a review just because you don’t like it. Face it Belt, you got caught out, stop trying to make it look like it was all planned you moron.

    • The time delay on it tells me they were cooking up a likely sounding explanation. Pretty transparent. Especially as Juana gave it away with her comments on the Owain review.

I don’t know. You really think Belt is so thick as to not create an account for a fake review? I know we’re all into wanting to kick him at every opportunity, but he’s not that thick.

Oh, and ever since I told that bitch of a wife to piss off from here she hasn’t been back. I’ll just chalk that up as a win.

No, that is a loss. It degrades this site. Reread Voltaire.

@Michelle, I assume you are referring to Spanish Bride. You may think it is a win if she does not post here again, but like Alan, I think it is a loss.

This site is good because there are different views and everyone gets to have their say without being run off the site because those that post here disagree with them or don’t like them.

And the way you have referred to her is uncalled for. Attack the message by all means, but calling her a bitch doesn’t reflect well on you as a person.

I don’t agree with what she says, but I don’t think name-calling – especially that name – is called for.

You’re all charm Michelle! No need for that sort of behaviour at all. I get how devisive the WO crew can be but remember she is a wife, a mother, a daughter and a person just like you and I. I suspect she has very thick skin given her hubby does seem to be a trouble magnet but there is never any excuse for that sort of personal attack…some people deal with it differently and you don’t know the harm you can do even in cyberspace.

          • Good to see community moderation here. Thanks. A better forum is a joint aim.

Michelle, they are right. It’s different to many forums here. Everyone is welcome to comment here as long as they are reasonable about it.

There’s a lot of criticism of Cameron, Juana, Pete belt and Whale Oil here and it’s important that they are able to exercise a right of response without being abused. That’s an important principle here.

  4. I just read Dunne’s press release (on Scoop news) titled: ‘Taking Emotions out of the Medicinal Cannabis debate’ he is basically just reaffirming : nothing will likely change anytime soon.. (before 2017 ?) ie IF you jump through enough hoops, you MAY get access to ‘Sativex’ or something similar.
He says he is ‘looking at issues overseas’ (oh really ?)
All i can say to Minister Dunne is: Of course people get emotional when >80% of kiwis in several polls say ‘YES its time for change, as is happening in Canada, USA, EU, Aust. etc.’
BUT.. this Govt. effectively just ignore them.. preferring to ‘play politics’ 😦

A few years back after an election, Dunne stated that if either of the main parties wanted his support there would be no discussion of legalization or decriminalization of marijuana. Seems his wowser mindset hasn’t changed. He’s a dinosaur and imho he should not be allowed anywhere near a portfolio as important as health in which changes are constantly happening and need to be assesed and reassesed on a daily basis. He showed his incompetance with the legal highs debacle and yet he’s still there.

Dear Mr Dunne, please take politics out of the medicinal cannabis debate. Leave it to doctors and their patients. Yours sincerely, New Zealand.

They’ve been using the same excuses for years. Oh we need to look at this study, we need to look at this data etc etc etc. Time to stop making people jump through the ‘appropriate’ hoops like circus dogs and get it done. It’s been the same BS for far to long.

            • @rob someone has to play the game within the rules, I agree on not waiting for any more trials for the obvious conditions, but the protest movement hasn’t really achieved anything other than a few arrests and the suicide of Stephen McIntyre.

Lets face it, Dunne can do as he pleases and he often does. His beliefs are based on a book of fairy stories and they cloud his judgement. So long as he is a lone wolf Conservative MP National will most always need him.

I have just seen an article where James Shaw says that Cabinet should be 50% women! Seriously, have we not been here before with Labour’s ‘Man Ban’? How insulting to women to imply they aren’t good enough to get into cabinet on their own merits, but require getting the position based on their gender. It is patronising and sexist.

Achieving success based on one’s own hard work, and knowing it was achieved based on your own skills, experience and attributes, and because you are the best person for the job is better for self-esteem and for motivation than being handed a position because of your gender.

Personally if I got a position based on being a woman, and not based on my skills, experience, and personal attributes, I would feel pretty worthless, and I don’t think it would be any good for physical or mental well being always feeling you have to prove yourself in a job you have been given. I am no psychologist, but I would imagine a person who feels worthless, or out of their depth, in the workplace – whether it is government, private sector, or public service – will not be productive and could be at risk of mental health issues, especially depression. James Shaw’s idiotic idea will not do anything to help women succeed.
