It would be great to be an Auckland property owner but alas most of us aren’t. Still it seems even Auckland property owners have the odd little burden (or two). http://www.stuff.co.nz/auckland/73640778/council-maori-advisory-wrangle-costs-auckland-ratepayers-110k

Yeah, if only I had access to those “Get rich through property investment” guru books back in the 90s when I was a young fella in Auckalnd I would probably be worth 10s of millions by now if not a lot more.

    Interesting article by Paul Marek

I used to know a man whose family were German aristocracy prior to World War II. They owned a number of large industries and estates. I asked him how many German people were true Nazis, and the answer he gave has stuck with me and guided my attitude toward fanaticism ever since.

“Very few people were true Nazis,” he said, “but many enjoyed the return of German pride, and many more were too busy to care. I was one of those who just thought the Nazis were a bunch of fools. So, the majority just sat back and let it all happen. Then, before we knew it, they owned us, and we had lost control, and the end of the world had come. My family lost everything. I ended up in a concentration camp and the Allies destroyed my factories.”

We are told again and again by experts and talking heads that Islam is the religion of peace, and that the vast majority of Muslims just want to live in peace. Although this unquantified assertion may be true, it is entirely irrelevant. It is meaningless fluff, meant to make us feel better, and meant to somehow diminish the spectre of fanatics rampaging across the globe in the name of Islam.

The fact is that the fanatics rule Islam at this moment in history. It is the fanatics who march. It is the fanatics who wage any one of 50 shooting wars worldwide. It is the fanatics who systematically slaughter Christian or tribal groups throughout Africa and are gradually taking over the entire continent in an Islamic wave. It is the fanatics who bomb, behead, murder, or execute honour killings. It is the fanatics who take over mosque after mosque. It is the fanatics who zealously spread the stoning and hanging of rape victims and homosexuals. The hard, quantifiable fact is that the “peaceful majority” is the “silent majority,” and it is cowed and extraneous.

Communist Russia was comprised of Russians who just wanted to live in peace, yet the Russian Communists were responsible for the murder of about 20 million people. The peaceful majority were irrelevant. China’s huge population was peaceful as well, but Chinese Communists managed to kill a staggering 70 million people. The average Japanese individual prior to World War II was not a war-mongering sadist. Yet, Japan murdered and slaughtered its way across Southeast Asia in an orgy of killing that included the systematic murder of 12 million Chinese civilians – most killed by sword, shovel and bayonet. And who can forget Rwanda, which collapsed into butchery? Could it not be said that the majority of Rwandans were “peace loving”?

History lessons are often incredibly simple and blunt; yet, for all our powers of reason, we often miss the most basic and uncomplicated of points. Peace-loving Muslims have been made irrelevant by the fanatics. Peace-loving Muslims have been made irrelevant by their silence. Peace-loving Muslims will become our enemy if they don’t speak up, because, like my friend from Germany, they will awaken one day and find that the fanatics own them, and the end of their world will have begun.

Peace-loving Germans, Japanese, Chinese, Russians, Rwandans, Bosnians, Afghanis, Iraqis, Palestinians, Somalis, Nigerians, Algerians and many others, have died because the peaceful majority did not speak up until it was too late. As for us, watching it all unfold, we must pay attention to the only group that counts: the fanatics who threaten our way of life

I’ve been thinking about the whole moderate Muslim vs fanatics (Islamist) thing. I think the number one thing to do is take the fight to the fanatics. If we can get the moderates on our side then good. If they remain passive and neutral then fine, that’s ok, so long as they don’t side with the fanatics. And who knows? Once the fanatics start getting crushed maybe the moderates will start speaking up against them.

The lack of a moderate(ing) worldwide leadership within Islam counts against Western assimilation. In the West it’s WYSIWYG for how we perceive them. What we largely see is Koranic brainwashing, women’s complete subjugation and a lack of freedom. We see communities in our midst that stand alone and remain isolated and unassimilated. Such isolation is a breeding ground for activism against the state. In broader and historically Western Christendom we have a Pope who influences and directs the largest group of Christians, and likwise we have Protestant leaders who unify, influence, set boundaries and generally project a message of peace and inclusion. Most of Christendom, agnosticism and atheism subscribe to Pluralism and the acceptance of state above all largely defines our societies. When people migrate and bring a God’s law that overrides State law you have an Islam at odds with our Western societies. It seems we will be have to be the ones to yield. It’s not looking as if it will be an easy or bloodless task as history shows us.

P.S. Can I just add I am not remotely against Islam, and in the first part of that rave I am talking Western perception.

Are you against millions of Islamists flooding the West and using our liberal institutions and legal system to provide cover for their attempts to over run those very same institutions and the culture that developed them?

What’s with this “moderate” muslims claim?

Anyone here fancy living in any Muslim country? No, I didn’t think so.

If “moderate” is suppose to mean “I’m not TOTALLY on board with sticking people in an iron cage and setting them on fire” then maybe that would reflect reality.

    Trump releases new book!

Some excerpts reveal why he is kicking butt against the other bought and paid for candidates:

“I use the media the way the media uses me ” to attract attention,” he writes, explaining that he, “learned a long time ago that if you’re not afraid to be outspoken, the media will write about you or beg you to come on their shows.”

“People say I don’t provide specific policies that some pollster has determined what people want to hear. I know that’s not the way the professional politicians do it ” they seem to poll and focus-group every word. But there’s nobody like me,” he writes, with dramatic line breaks.

Here is a copy of a letter he purportedly written by ‘The Donald’…

      Dear Airlines,
Dump the male Flight Attendants. No one wanted those closet queens in the first place.
Replace all the female flight attendants with YOUNG good-looking strippers.
What the hell!! They don’t even serve food anymore, so what’s the loss?
The strippers would at least triple the alcohol sales and get a ‘party atmosphere’ going in the cabin.
And, of course, every businessman in this country would start flying again, hoping to see naked women.
Because of the tips, female flight attendants wouldn’t need a salary, thus saving ever more money.
Muslims would be afraid to get on planes for fear of seeing naked women.
Hijackings would come to a screeching halt, and the airline industry would see record revenues.
This is definitely a win-win situation if we handle it right — a golden opportunity to turn a liability into an asset.
Why didn’t Bush or Obama think of this?
Why do I still have to do everything myself?

      Sincerely,
      Donald Trump

You certainly have to admire the man 🙂

And I bet that it wouldn’t even take a couple of drinks for you to disappear into the loo. LOL.

Meant to add, the Race Relations Commissioner is formally appointed by the GG, but entirely on the recommendation of the Minister of Justice. Judith Collins can be such a helpful wee sausage when she wants to be.

The only real undercurrent of racism in NZ is the Cultural Marxist war on their declared “class enemy” – white guys.
