Supplementing MSM

If you can’t get enough MSM you might like to supplement it with this:

I presume you knew that MSM stood for methylsulfonylmethane.

If you feel a like you are lacking in methylsulfonylmethane, microcrystalline cellulose, hydroxypropyl cellulose, magnesium stearate, silicon dioxide, stearic acid, hydroxypropylmethyl cellulose and vegetable glycerin then MSM might be just what you wanted.

And it must be healthy because it’s sugar, salt and starch free. I presume it’s also cyanide free but they don’t mention that.

 

WebMD says that MSM is used to control snoring.

MSM is also used to control snoring. In fact, directions for making MSM nose drops for snoring have been published, but there’s no evidence that MSM has any effect on snoring.

Who needs evidence when it comes to popping pill supplements?

MSM is also used for:

Chronic pain, osteoarthritis, joint inflammation, rheumatoid arthritis, osteoporosis, bursitis, tendonitis, tenosynovitis, musculoskeletal pain, muscle cramps, scleroderma, scar tissue, stretch marks, hair loss, wrinkles, protection against sun/wind burn, eye inflammation, oral hygiene, periodontal disease, wounds, cuts, and abrasions/accelerated wound healing.

Relief of allergies, chronic constipation, “sour stomach”, ulcers, a bowel disease called diverticulosis, premenstrual syndrome (PMS), mood elevation, obesity, poor circulation, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, type 2 diabetes, liver problems, Alzheimer’s disease, lung disorders including emphysema and pneumonia, chronic fatigue syndrome, autoimmune disorders (systemic lupus erythematous), HIV infection and AIDS, and cancer (breast cancer and colon cancer).

Eye inflammation, mucous membrane inflammation, temporomandibular joint (TMJ) problems, leg cramps, migraine, headaches, hangover, parasitic infections of the intestinal and urogenital tracts including Trichomonas vaginalis and Giardia, yeast infection, insect bites, radiation poisioning, and to boost the immune system.

Sounds like it’s very versatile.

You may have heard about MSM because of the book The Miracle of MSM: The Natural Solution for Pain. There isn’t much published scientific research to support its use.

Never mind about a lack of scientific research to support it’s use.

More MSM must be better for us.

Or we could eat food instead, that used to work.

And there was I really believing MSM meant an award of the Meritorious Service Medal to our senior Army NCOs and Warrant Officers, who served multiple years without being detected committing an offence against Military Law. I don’t think any MSMs were awarded fo journalists, nor would I expect it.

    Yeah, great stuff, Pete……after you go through the detox. Mine lasted two weeks. To be fair I am a toxic person.

    Sometimes you must take the risk rather than what for science.

      What made you pick on MSM, Pete? I can think of many supplements that need a panning before MSM.

      You are right about food. It use to work. Seen the spray schedule for onions, tomatoes and peppers? Not good. Been to see a commercial vegetable growers land? Its usually grey with nitrogen run off and minerals that are locked up. Worms? LoL. Average brix- 3-5. Dead mans food.

      The result? 1in 3 New Zealanders will experience cancer

    • We are what we believe. We’re not what we eat.

      What we believe effects what we eat, naturally, and also effects our body’s ability to process what we eat.

      This isn’t absolute. It’s a generalisation “within reason”.
      There are diseases and conditions belief seems unable to prevent or overcome.
      I can’t drink poison because I believe it won’t harm me.
      I can’t eat food with zero food value and expect to remain healthy.

      But in a general sense, we are what we believe.
