The Progressive Dildos are going into melt down because shock gasp TVNZ is starting a TV channel aimed at men ( how DARE they! Misogyny! Rape! ).

Apparently men are dropping out of mainstream TV big time which is primarily geared towards females so there is potential for a niche market channel here.

It’s hilarious that Leftists/Cat Ladies feel entitled to dictate what anyone is allowed to watch on TV.

Unfortunately the Left has been hijacked by the Cultural Marxists, so yes it is Feminism getting out of hand in the sense it now dominates the Left.

When was the last time a Leftist told a feminist harpie to go shove it and survived the ensuing flash mob?

The fourth one down is at least part Japanese, she sells pineapple cat stickers for a hobby…

I don’t mind the Japanese they are an advanced industrial 1st world country, so rich that even after decades of screwing their economy and no growth they are still rich enough that NZ looks like part of the developing world to them. That’s why they don’t bother.

Instead we get Third World Vibrants to replace us.

There are Japanese people living here,

If the girl is part-Japanese, she’s part something else as well-of course.

How kind to say that one ‘doesn’t mind the Japanese.’ I bet that that will delight them.

LOL, do you have any idea how xenophobic Japanese are?

They are an EXTREMELY homogeneous society and it didn’t stop them turning into an advanced industrial power house.

And yet us “Evil Whities” are constantly put on a guilt trip and told Multiculturalism(TM) will make the economy boom.

            Reply
            • @ KG – It doesn’t necessarily follow that ethnic heterogeneity PREVENTS us turning into an economic powerhouse of some sort? And anyhow, doesn’t a relatively free market mean you can have a homogenous workplace if you want to? A whole industry perhaps? A ‘Maori’ industry perhaps? Or whatever ethnicity …?

And there are down-sides to industrial powerhouse as Japan discovered – along with the planet – in the earthquake and tsunami.

    • Top form KG! Absolutely TOP !!! Thank you.
Bushido, Samurai and Geisha was far better of course but yeah, a thin veneer of Americanism is working really well for the Japanese.

USA pensions schemes public and private are buckling, entire states are going to the wall on this, unable to meet pension obligations due to poor returns in a low growth, low interest rate environment.

Its these kind of headlines which triggers the Stalinist in me, scary stuff:

“I Guess It’s Food Stamps”: 400,000 Americans In Jeopardy As Giant Pension Fund Plans 50% Benefit Cuts

    Dale Dorsey isn’t happy.

After working 33 years, he’s facing a 55% cut to his pension benefits, a blow which he says will “cripple” his family and imperil the livelihood of his two children, one of whom is in the fourth grade and one of whom is just entering high school.

Dorsey attended a town hall meeting in Kansas City on Tuesday where retirees turned out for a discussion on “massive” pension cuts proposed by the Central States Pension Fund, which covers 400,000 participants, and which will almost certainly go broke within the next decade.

“A controversial 2014 law allowed the pension to propose [deep] cuts, many of them by half or more, as a way to perhaps save the fund,” The Kansas City Star wrote earlier this week adding that “two much smaller pensions also have sought similar relief under the law, and still more pensions are significantly underfunded.”

“What’s happening to us is a microcosm of what’s going to happen to the rest of the pensions in the United States,” said Jay Perry, a longtime Teamsters member.

    Jay is probably correct.

Public sector pension funds are grossly underfunded in places like Chicago and Houston, while private sector funds are struggling to deal with rock bottom interest rates, which put pressure on expected returns and thus drive the present value of funds’ liabilities higher.

Illinois’ pension burden has brought the state to its knees financially speaking and in November, Springfield was forced to miss a $560 million payment to its retirement fund. In the private sector, GM said on Thursday that it will sell 20- and 30-year bonds in order to meet its pension obligations.

“At the end of last year GM’s U.S. hourly pension plan was underfunded by $10.4 billion,” The New York Times writes. “About $61 billion of the obligations were funded for the plan’s roughly 360,000 pensioners.” Maybe it’s time for tax payers to bail themselves out. ”

    http://www.zerohedge.com/news/2016-02-18/i-guess-its-food-stamps-400000-americans-jeopardy-giant-pension-fund-plans-50-benefi

I know a NZer in their 80s who has a private pension that nicely tops up the meager government one keeping them comfortable and out of poverty as long as they manage their money carefully.

(I don’t know how anyone can survive on just the public pension.)

Hate to think what would happen if that private pension suddenly went tits up -they would probably die of stress and heart break at that age.

    • Awesome comment KG! You say, “… unable to meet pension obligations due to poor returns in a low growth, low interest rate environment”

I think there might be some other ingredients involved; a lesser employment, lower taxation, greater income disparity enviroment too perhaps? Maybe the ‘missing’ money is around, and the “gross underfunding” is a direct result of obscene, accelerating, rampant income inequality and ‘tax haven’ inaccessibility?

True, I remember Gareth Morgan staying in a Monaco hotel observing all the small apartments that the rich buy ( eg Auckland property speculators ) as a tax haven address with lots of parking in the marina for their yachts.

Some countries are starting to do something about it.

I said to year 3 teacher at the end of last year that in a decade we will look back at the National Standard as the darkest days of NZ education. Interesting to read Kelvin, though he is a tough read – that article seems to start half way through. There is a great Adam Curtis documentary with a segment on the National Health Service in the UK bringing in a Standard type evaluation, instead of results based, and what happened? If people are required to supply numbers, they will game the system to provide the expected results.
It fucks me off, a little, that we’re playing that game with education.

But when people are not required to supply numbers they don’t have to do anything. It’s important that the numbers are the most meaningful, fit for purpose and not easy to game. It is also a shame that the teaching profession has chosen to regard them as a threat rather than an opportunity.

        Reply
        • I have to admit that every time I’ve been to a doctor I didn’t consider that he/she wouldn’t do anything if they’re weren’t to supply a number to someone.

When our kids went to their various schools (and the one going to the institution presently) I didn’t get the idea that those helping them wouldn’t do anything if they weren’t to supply numbers to someone.

Pretty much everything a doctor does is based on numbers that somewhere someone assessed or assesses.

It’s not a question of not doing anything at all, but of continuous improvement and learning what works, what doesn’t and how to make the most of what is learnt. No board of directors would run a business without monitoring its critical numbers. No reason education should be different, particularly as it is both compulsory and publicly funded.

Rachel Glucina is the real piece of work with a political agenda … because she managed to orchestrate the taking of that photo of John Keys Son with Kim DotComs Wife about 18 months or so ago.

Media Works is dominated by Leftie Staff and Journalists … so it comes as no surprise to me that Glucina has managed to secure employment with Media Works 🙂
