    • They don’t have to say how much they got. It could have been a one off gift of half a dozen sausages, or it could be a barrel of pork per week.

Its interesting that many kiwis think Key is just an ‘average guy’ that they can trust & identify with.. all you have to do is scan the above info. to see thats clearly not true.. “WAKE UP people” there is nothing ‘average’ (or trustworthy ?) about him ! 😀

    • I dont think you quite understand why Key is thought to be an ‘average guy’ they can trust and identify with, his wealth and assets arent a factor.

        oh really ?
I tend to trust & identify with people, i have things in common with.. how many ‘average kiwis’ have holiday homes in Hawaii ? OR $million stashed in ‘secret family trusts’ OR jet around the world on a regular basis OR play golf with the USA President.. I’m guessing perhaps, only those in the wealthiest 1-2% !

This IS Aotearoa/NZ.. not ‘planet Key’.. so yes, maybe it is time to; “WAKE UP Kerry”

Key is NOT an ‘average kiwi’ 😦

said it before “….. BUT, you can’t FOOL all the people ALL the time !”

I think a lot of people identify with his personality, his background, but also the aspirational side of Key, they see someone who started out in a state house and got somewhere in life, most people want to be able to have a better life, and most people will aspire to that – the fact that there are so many that just seem to be envious of his wealth is another example of the NZ Tall Poppy syndrome, so many in NZ don’t like to see other people succeed whether through jealousy or something else I don’t know, but it is sad that NZers can’t celebrate success anymore – unless we are told by the media to, or it is sports related.

‘I think a lot of people identify with his personality….’ OR just his BULLSHIT !?

“would the real John Key please stand up ?” :/ NOT Shon Key 😦

Q2 – 5 were cute. Lot of merit for Q5 in the big picture ‘substance’ sense I thought.
Q4 says National’s strategists need serious help in the irony stakes.
And Q3, I’m afraid cofirms many of my concerns over Mr Shaw.
