Social chat – Friday

A post for social chat to keep it separate from posts that discuss issues. You can still chat socially on other posts if it happens in relation to other discussions but if you simply want a bit of social chat try this.

The usual guidelines apply as to respecting others, behaviour and avoiding legal exposure. An emphasis on ‘social’, not ‘anti-social’.

I knew a man Bojangles and he’d dance for you – in worn out shoes …

I have been on a nostalgia trip with some of my old LPs. Look what they’ve done to my song, Ma !

What utter drivel-but what can one expect from that source ? Does he really expect us to believe that Herr Bumf isn’t trying to buy the White House ? Please, give us credit for some intelligence.

Yes but downloading Win10 (which I don’t want to instal yet) has exceeded my cap. I’m down to dial up speed so can’t play YouTube videos for two more weeks. 😦

Cap? WTF G?! You live in town, don’t you? $20/week gets me unlimited fibre, and a landline. So what’s your excuse?

Well, laziness basically. For around the same as that monthly from Spark I get a landline, free landline calling to four numbers & cheap calls to most other countries I’m likely to call plus free McAfee updates. I’m assuming if I change providers I’ll have to change my main email address & try & remember all the various organisations I have to notify of the change.

I think Spark has basically forgotten about the plan I’m on & I just couldn’t be trying to work out which of all the possible alternative providers offers reliable services for something better. I got warned off a few of the smaller competitors. Because I don’t actually use a lot of broadband there hasn’t really been any need to get off me butt & change things.
