Season 2 of Trump?

The Donald Trump show has often been likened to reality TV (which rarely bares any resemblance to reality).

So will Season 2 of Trump get higher ratings than Season 1?

Season 1? Haven’t we already had autumn, winter, spring, summer, autumn, winter and spring?

Some now foresee winter, winter, winter, winter, while others see endless sunshine coming in the United States.

But Trump doesn’t seem to mind how all this sunshine might affect global warming.

Pacific Standard: Donald Trump Follows on Promise to Gut the Environmental Protection Agency

In debates and speeches leading up to the election, President-elect Donald Trump had promised to “get rid of [the Environmental Protection Agency] in almost every form” and to “cancel” the United States’ commitment to the international Paris Agreement on reducing greenhouse gas emissions. The U.S. signed the Paris Agreement earlier this year.

Now that he’s won, how serious is Trump about accomplishing these goals? In his pick to lead the administration transition for the EPA— unearthed in September by Energy & Environment Daily—it seems he’s intent on keeping his word. Trump chose Myron Ebell, director of the Center for Energy and Environment at the Competitive Enterprise Institute.

Energy & Environment Daily describes Ebell:

Ebell is a well-known and polarizing figure in the energy and environment realm. His participation in the EPA transition signals that the Trump team is looking to drastically reshape the climate policies the agency has pursued under the Obama administration. Ebell’s role is likely to infuriate environmentalists and Democrats but buoy critics of Obama’s climate rules.
Ebell, who was dubbed an “elegant nerd” and a “policy wonk” by Vanity Fair, is known for his prolific writings that question what he calls climate change “alarmism.” …

Ebell has called the Obama administration’s Clean Power Plan for greenhouse gases illegal and said that Obama joining the Paris climate treaty “is clearly an unconstitutional usurpation of the Senate’s authority.”

Is the US going to renege on international agreements and commitments on climate?

Would you be happy if your parents had landed you with a naff, non-U, common (in the sense of plebian) name like that ? I’d be calling myself Ron if I were him. If he’d been a girl, they’d probably have called her Barroness.

Would one of those white ridged ones that people use against spraypaint and chemicals be enough ? Do they make them in dog sizes ?

Best to wait for advice from Uggers I think. He’s got all the expertise in these sorts of evil plots.

Meantime don’t panic. Could all be a load of hooey. The false flag fake holographic alien invasion to stop the US election that he let us know about just in case was.

That was from TS, I think. He’s just got a bit, um, heavily edited here a couple of times lately I believe 😳

Democracy is coming to the EPA autocracy and not before time. A good cleanout there will be excellent.

Surely everyone knows that man in this context means human being, not male. Man was the original word for person. Its limited meaning came much later, but the old one survives in a few cases like man-made.

I read that there was a bit of a global warming in the c.19, but don’t know if this is right or how widespread it was.

Alas, your humour is leaden and pedestrian and not very funny except to you. You still seem to think it funny and clever to use the tired old trump jokes that are so ancient that they have long grey beards. And it wouldn’t surprise me if your etymological knowledge was rather limited, as your language usage suggests (!) this.

I have just googled it-some things should have been obvious, but weren’t. I knew that it had varied, with really cold weather in Europe after warmer climates, rivers freezing and so on…it’s quite complex, too much so to summarise. I just looked up ’19th century global warming’.

Oh, so now the celebrity shills for Obama/Hillary are imploring the media to “do their fu***** job”. Well, again, a bit late. (In spite of his politics, I like Bill Maher’s show).

That’s not a surprise. She can see Russia from her place I gather. She can head the intelligence services and keep an eye on them, especially if The Donald sends a tweet Vlad doesn’t like.
