Trump versus Mexico on paying for the wall

A bizarre bunch of tweets from an apparently authentic Twitter account of an ex-president of Mexico, and the president-elect of the United States.

That isn’t the current President of Mexico. If the account is the authentic account of Vicente Fox Quesada then he is a businessman who was President of Mexico from 2000 to 2006.

The current President is Enrique Pena Nieto.

Due in particular to the fucken in Senor Fox’s last tweet, it seems he speaks English verncular quite well. I did enjoy an interview with him where consistently called The Donald ‘Tromp’, although I believe it was just a pronunciation problem to do with his Mexican accent. (Fox’s, not Trump’s.)

I suspect that he is speaking for many, many Mexicans, president or not.

I don’t know how similar Mexican pronunciation is to Spanish in Spain, but when I learned Spanish, ‘u’ was pron. like ‘oo’ in food, but it was a shorter sound. .

It’s probably evolved a bit pronunciation-wise. Look how we say ‘bit’ and ‘six’ and the ozzers have some how mangled those into ‘beet’ and ‘sikhs’. 😳

so the long and short of this is that American taxpayers will pay for the wall and the Cheezel hopes another country will reimburse them… some time in the future…. eventually…. maybe…. but no guarantees yet, mind…

Yeah I can see that’s a real winner

What-you don’t believe that Mexico will gladly pay for a wall that they don’t want, didn’t ask for and which will bankrupt the country ? Why ? It’s not as if a wall can be built all the way across the border anyway-oh !

Bunch of gullible racist jerk-offs. They got what they deserved and screwed the rest of the nation in the process.

Premature ejaculation on your part there joe. Youll need to tie a knot in it for a little longer. They’ve got nothing until obummer shuffles off and clears way for the Donald to set about eradicating 8 years of incompetence. As David says it trivially easy to extract payment from Mexico. Watch and learn my friend. Cheers,c

hey Joe,I am surprised you think Trump could do any worse than any of those that preceded him in the last 20 years.

Trump will get Mexico to pay for it, it’s trivially easy to do so. He simply puts a tax on US remittances to Mexico and its done, and there is not a damn thing Mexico can do to stop him.

That went in the wrong place.

I would not be at all surprised if the Great Wall of Donald never happens. He’s already saying that it will be made of fencing.

The law allowing the construction of a security fence was passed by congress a decade ago. Trump will build enough of a ‘wall’ to allow him to claim success and move on.

Donald J. Trump’s 10 Point Plan to Put America First

      1. Begin working on an impenetrable physical wall on the southern border, on day one. Mexico will pay for the wall.

      2. End catch-and-release. Under a Trump administration, anyone who illegally crosses the border will be detained until they are removed out of our country.

      3. Move criminal aliens out day one, in joint operations with local, state, and federal law enforcement. We will terminate the Obama administration’s deadly, non-enforcement policies that allow thousands of criminal aliens to freely roam our streets.

      4. End sanctuary cities.

      5. Immediately terminate President Obama’s two illegal executive amnesties. All immigration laws will be enforced – we will triple the number of ICE agents. Anyone who enters the U.S. illegally is subject to deportation. That is what it means to have laws and to have a country.

      6. Suspend the issuance of visas to any place where adequate screening cannot occur, until proven and effective vetting mechanisms can be put into place.

      7. Ensure that other countries take their people back when we order them deported.

      8. Ensure that a biometric entry-exit visa tracking system is fully implemented at all land, air, and sea ports.

      9. Turn off the jobs and benefits magnet. Many immigrants come to the U.S. illegally in search of jobs, even though federal law prohibits the employment of illegal immigrants.

      10. Reform legal immigration to serve the best interests of America and its workers, keeping immigration levels within historic norms.

All shits and giggles now but Trump holds all the cards and enters the negotiation from a position of strength. Economic powerhouse vs the third world. What happens next will not be pretty but it will be pretty effective
