and I’m sure that Arnie was greatly comforted. And Arnie’s response was gracious in response:

“You take over TV, because you’re such an expert in ratings, and I take over your job, then people can finally sleep comfortably again.”

“The White House said that Trump administration has not yet taken an official position on Israel’s settlements, but, according to a report, it also warned Israel against “unilateral” announcements of new settlements, saying they “undermine” the new administration’s desire to reach a peace deal along the lines of a two-state solution, the Jerusalem Post reported Thursday, citing an unnamed senior official”.

Here Alan, please allow me to correctify that for you:

      There…much better…and less error-laden.

Yep, so the Dems have to decide whether they want to give Trumpy the excuse to go nuclear there or not. Tough choice: abandon their immediate hysteria or become forever irrelevant. I’m betting on the second since virulent TDS is sure to be untreatable for some of them.

An excerpt from today’s greatest reads:

Individually, most of Trump’s supporters are probably not psychopaths. But the collective group is psychopathic. Whether they believe Trump’s lies or not, they are all too enthusiastic about his victimizing others – for example, government officials, Obamacare beneficiaries, women around the world who need healthcare from facilities that provide abortions, and refugees from many Muslim countries.

Over the past several years, they have been indoctrinated by Fox News, alt-right/alt-fact websites, hate radio, their parents, their friends, Republican politicians, and Trump himself into thinking that they, not the targets of Trump’s venom, are the real victims; that the “other” is entirely to blame for all of their misery, fear, and deprivation.

Nah, I don’t think I’m a victim nor that I suffer from misery, fear or deprivation.

In fact that exactly describes the TDS sufferers.

Pretty much confirms in that case both sides are at least as bad as each other.

The video confirms that at a restaurant in Washington, just before the inauguration, a liberal and a conservative sat down for a meal together, and both surreptitiously filmed the other. Each was trying to get the other to say something incriminating.

O’Keefe’s new video also includes footage of Clayton and The Undercurrent’s Lauren Windsor following the conservative operative out of the restaurant and taunting her with questions ― with Clayton shouting, on multiple occasions, “Gotcha bitch,” and getting into a cab with her.

But the overwhelming impression from an increasingly vocal Alt right is that it all goes one way, which is false. But this is what Milo tell people.

            • PDB

               /  February 3, 2017

I think what we are seeing is the alt-right finally speaking up after years of left-wing doctrine, PC nonsense and false claims of racism/sexism etc whenever they have spoken on continuous issues in the past. Many of these people haven’t been extreme-right either, even moderate right-wingers were treated similarly.

Using New Zealand as an example Labour has gone pretty far-left, if you are a traditional Labour supporter you might even be wrongly considered/categorized as ‘right-wing’ now (as many have been – Shearer, Goff, Shane Jones etc).

I don’t follow Milo but nowhere have a seen any reason to label him a ‘Nazi’ or ‘Fascist’ – ironic when the extreme left are suggesting book burnings of his upcoming book and riot against him speaking freely on his tour. What I do see however is some left-wingers upset at Trump taking their frustration out on Milo (an open Trump supporter) because he is more assessable to vent their frustrations upon.

Milo got his break through Gamergate, no prizes for which side of that he was on. Stirring shit works well for him, but the shit he stirs gets pretty fucken toxic. I’d educate myself more on him but I can’t stomach the new “you tube” media style that he delivers in; they all take an hour to say what should only take 8 minutes, I want the 8 min, it’s the 58 min of tired partisan cliches that are impenetrable.

I think this sums up the current MSM reporting pretty well:

Trump has lunch with the Pope

President Trump invited the Pope for lunch on his mega yacht, the Pope accepted and during lunch, a puff of wind blew the Pontiff’s hat off, right into the water.

It floated off about 50 feet, then the wind died down and it just floated in place.

The crew and the secret service were scrambling to launch a boat to go get it, when Trump waved them off, saying “Never mind, boys, I’ll get it.”

The Donald climbed over the side of the yacht, walked on the water to the hat, picked it up, walked back on the water, climbed onto the yacht, and handed the Pope his hat.

The crew was speechless. The security team and the Pope’s entourage were speechless.

No one knew what to say, not even the Pope.

But that afternoon, NBC, CBS, ABC, MSNBC, CNN all knew how to cover the story. Their banner headlines read,

      “TRUMP CAN’T SWIM!”

    How wars start:

WHITE HOUSE PRESS SECRETARY Sean Spicer asserted at Thursday’s press briefing that Iran had attacked a U.S. naval vessel, as part of his argument defending the administration’s bellicose announcement that Iran is “on notice.”

And in more news from the Divided State of America…the Office of the Inspector General of the Department of Homeland Security is to open a formal investigation following a request from Congress for a “comprehensive investigation” into the “chaotic execution” of the administration’s order, which separated families around the world.

    https://theintercept.com/2017/02/01/homeland-security-inspector-general-opens-investigation-of-muslim-ban-rollout-orders-document-preservation/

Unbelievably it’s not the first formal investigation opened on Trump and his innermost team. The US military has launched an investigation into the botched raid Trump ordered in Yemen – the one that killed more women, children, and American servicemen than Al-Qaida operatives.

The will-she, won’t she (Mrs T coming to the White House) saga continues. The latest is that she will. I wonder if pressure has been brought to bear.

What a lovely girl Kellyanne Conway is. I bet that she’d be the first to comfort Mr T if Mrs T gives him the bum’s rush.

  10. Kellyanne Conway made up a fake terrorist attack to justify Trump’s ‘Muslim ban’

In an interview with MSNBC’s Chris Matthews that aired on Thursday night, Trump adviser Kellyanne Conway managed to get two huge things wrong in a short, 19-second answer. First, she said that the Obama administration banned Iraqi refugees from entering in the United States for six months in 2011 — which is flatly untrue.

Second, and more significantly, she made up a terrorist attack committed by Iraqi refugees that never happened — the “Bowling Green Massacre”.

Conway claims that “most people don’t know that because it didn’t get covered.” Most people don’t know about it because it didn’t happen.

You can make a mistake without making it up, AC, as your link shows.

And to clarify the Conway clarification over the Bowling Green Massacre:

the May 2011 arrest of two men in Kentucky charged with plotting to send weapons and money to al-Qaida operatives abroad….They were never accused of plotting to launch attacks inside the US.

          https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2017/feb/03/kellyanne-conway-bowling-green-massacre-trump-travel-ban

Sunlight trumps alternative facts every day.

Such a pity that the Alt-Right feel compelled to make apologies for liars like Conway, Spicer, and Trump. “Everyone makes mistakes” just doesn’t wash when you’re talking about aides to the President who are charged with communicating info about the White House and its mission. It is their job not to make mistakes when they do that.

          From the “Government Sentencing Memorandum”
“He entered the United States on or about April 22, 2009, under a United States refugee program. As part of the investigation, a Confidential Human Source (CHS) met with Alwan and recorded their meetings and conversations beginning in or about August 2010. The CHSrepresented to Alwan that he was working with a group to send money and weapons to theMujahidin in Iraq. Beginning in September 2010, Alwan participated in money and weaponsdeliveries that he believed were going to Iraq, ”

It’s your classic FBI setup, they do this all the time. Single out some schmuck, coerce him into ‘believing’ he’s doing something and then bust him for it. Waa laa, Instant terrorist.
