The Trump tax revelations – from 2005 – seem to be mainly a side show.

Meanwhile the FBI has indicted two Russian intelligence officers for hacking.

CNBC: US accuses Russia of hacking Yahoo

The Department of Justice indicted two Russian intelligence officers and two other people, on charges stemming from the hacking of at least half a billion Yahoo accounts.

The defendants, including two officers of the Russian Federal Security Service, Dmitry Dokuchaev and Igor Sushchin, were able to gain information about “millions of subscribers” at Yahoo, Google, and other webmail providers, the Justice Department said.

Dokuchaev and Sushchin paid co-conspirators Alexsey Belan and Karim Baratov to access email accounts, the Justice Department said.

Acting Assistant Attorney General Mary McCord said that Belan is a “notorious” criminal hacker — one of the FBI’s most wanted — known for hacking U.S. e-commerce companies. Belan used the Yahoo attacks to launch spam campaigns, searched user communications for credit card and gift card numbers, and other schemes to “line his own pockets with money,” McCord said.

Snoop Dogg dropped a new video (like it was hot).

Here is Piers Morgan’s take on this, his comment in yesterday’s Daily Mail.

        http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-4313366/PIERS-MORGAN-s-one-dangerous-clown-Snoop-you.html

        • Trump’s jail threat is inappropriate (again) but Snoop Dogg’s video is irresponsible, provocative and potentially dangerous.

Agree with that Pete. Trump has got to stop threatening those that do things he doesn’t like, but Snoop Dogg was just stupid in what he did.

Here PG, let me rewrite that for you…

Snoop Dogg’s video may have been irresponsible and provocative but trump’s decision to engage in a Twitter war with a rapper instead of actually busying himself with governing the nation proves once again that he is a disgrace to the office he holds.

trump would do well to leave off harassing rappers and focus on what he does best – dividing minorities, building barriers, alienating immigrants, and fucking America up

Was it really a jail threat though? He asked and answered a question on what would have happened if someone did the same thing to Obama. He didn’t advocate jail time for Snoop.

That said, he really should stay above commenting on entertainers. They have an over-inflated sense of importance at the best of times and he’s just fuelling big egos.

Nope. He would’ve said ‘outcome’ not ‘outcry’ if that’s what he meant.
But Sean or Kellyanne can no doubt clarify what he meant if it causes any confusion.

Or he meant the outcry would be for jail time.

Me too. I especially enjoy watching him on Good Morning Britain Mon-Wed, and despite what a lot think I believe that he and his co-host have a good relationship, they remind me a bit of Paul Henry and Pippa.

They get auto deleted after a month or so. Wonder if I missed any from Hillary.

    😃

I don’t get any in email junk folder on the FiP.

I only have the lappy up a couple of times for windows & security updates. I’ll check. Xtra is shifting platforms from “Welcome to look, Anyone” Yahoo.

Actually I’m wondering if Macafee or Running Malwarebytes is the reason my registered free update of Windows 10 never installed. It popped up a message saying I could defer installation for 3 days but then would install itself, & I was busy so I did. Nothing ever happened. Still running Win7

Watching a “Mexican standoff” in the microwave? Is Mexican standoff easy to make and how many will it feed? And since I don’t have a microwave can it be done in the oven? 🍲😊

Here’s one for Gezza and PG. Trump compared with Obama by someone it really matters for, in the real world outside the media bullfight arena:

    http://ijr.com/2017/03/822619-i-had-dinner-with-the-afghanistan-ambassador-what-he-said-about-the-differences-between-trump-obama-is-stunning/

    • Gezza

       /  March 16, 2017

What would you think an Ambassador would say in this environment, & their situation, Alan?

It’s certainly very interesting that Trumpy wants to know how American companies can invest in their country in mining etc.

Be mindful that Trump’s approach from the military angle is possibly remarkably like Bush’s, Afghans are muslims, & American troops, air forces & commanders tend to have a rather cavalier attitude to ragheads & bombing the shit out of collaterals to get at targets.

Also, there is still currently the usual problem of endemic tribalism & corruption in the current central and regional governments & militaries.

Early days mon ami. Big talk, & tough talk, & assumptions everything would be rosy with American sorting it all out and bringing democracy (like the US’s), along these lines, started all the shit these places are in.

      • Gezza

         /  March 16, 2017

Also, try not to get too carried away with the notion, sold to the simple, and the bereaved widows & families, that US soldiers are fighting for Iraq, or Syria, or Afghanistan. They are fighting for America. They make that very clear.

      • Alan Wilkinson

         /  March 16, 2017

Asking good questions is not big talk, tough talk. An ambassador will say what he thinks helps his country but he will be careful not to lie about his host’s country. Afghanistan is a mess stirred by the Russians, screwed up by the Americans and exploited by the Pakistanis. Yes, it’s early days but it’s good to see a new and different approach to solving these problems.

        • Gezza

           /  March 16, 2017

Which bit is the different approach from Bush’s?
