Mike Hosking is VERY quiet about the libel case, not a word yet but their news room is saying Mr Hagaman might try again.A libel expert said that she is libeled out and Mr Little won.

Update, Hosking interviewed Little after 7am and keep stating that Little was guilty.Straight after interview there was a Scenic circle hotel ad, Hosking just keeping an advertiser happy.

You read so much into so Little…Lurchy. Hoskings is the best morning show host by far. Why do you think 22,000 snivelling lefties signed petition to remove him? Because they hate someone who can cut through the crap and tell it like it is. Then finish off by giving us good news stories with positive vibes. Sorry that offends you, son. But you need to harden up. Life isn’t all about Radio New Zealand, Winz benefits and beer…with the occasional skittle.

          Hosking is like a caricature of the worst in people-,smug,smarmy,entitled,intolerant,one eyed,dismissive,and a showoff who dresses like a 20.y.o…..and I don’t like him…either.

Smug, sometimes intolerant, show off and terrible dresser. Yes, I can agree with that( not the others). But you must remember we are talking about the upper middle-class. Money buys influence, Blazer. And a certain freedom. That’s what you and Lurchy hate. I have no problem with that. Its part of being a Leftie.

              I wouldn’t call Mike Hosking upper-middle class.

Nor, I would imagine, does he say which ads are on and when.

    *CAT’S PEACE TRAIN TOUR* …..LOL ❗

*Islam Yusuf* is due to tour here December….why should we let people like this into our country spreading their vile hate-filled Islamic views 😡

    • I wonder have the authorities been presented with this evidence.

It’s pretty clear that Cat Stevens, now transformed into Islam Yusuf, supported death as a penalty for writing a book of fiction. He did this because he “believed” Rushdie maligned that divine instrument of peace – that most perfect religion of peace – Islam.

I do wonder if your travels have included Morocco,Turkey or Dubai.

        • Yes, they have. In particular, I have spent a good deal of time in Turkey. I am deeply distressed that Erdogan, as an extreme Islamist, seeks to alter his beautiful country and cause it’s withdrawal from the values Ataturk set up to abolish the caliphate and their version of watered down secularism. He is the most dangerous man in Europe after Merkel, Tusk and Juncker. Morocca, a festering dump with nothing much but the food and occasional design triumph to redeem it. Dubai – great for shopping and have a best mate there.

Free speech (sic) didn’t do the Charlie Hebdos much good. They threw the gauntlet down and it was picked up. Some people confuse free speech with being deliberately grossly offensive.

            • Gezza

               /  April 11, 2017

Are you saying you consider they deserved to be killed by those Islamists for their cartoons?

            • Kitty Catkin

               /  April 11, 2017

I’m saying that if you deliberately provoke a response that you know will happen if you keep on doing it, you can’t be surprised when it DOES happen. There was no need for them to go out of their way to be grossly offensive and provocative-what’s the point of doing that ? It wasn’t fair commentary, it was provocation and incitement and was a stupid way to die-the cause was hardly worth being a martyr and losing your life for.

            • Gezza

               /  April 11, 2017

But the whole basis of Islam is nonsense. It’s a fairy tale. You know that. Why shouldn’t anybody be able to mock it? Why should you be suggesting that some deluded fanatics killing them is somehow ok? It’s not ok Kitty. It’s not.

            • Kitty Catkin

               /  April 12, 2017

To call religions fairytales because you have no religious beliefs yourself isn’t very intelligent. It’s not all right to blaspheme against anyone’s religion, and it’s stupid to expect that there will not be a reaction of some sort.

How do you know that religion is nonsense and a fairytale ? Are you omniscient ? Were you around at the beginning of the world to see how it began ? Are you cleverer than people like CS Lewis and Gandhi ?

            • Gezza

               /  April 12, 2017

How do you know that religion is nonsense and a fairytale ?
I was raised in one of them. There is not a single credible shred of reliable evidence that any of the three Abrahamic ones is true. Simple logic, a reasonable grounding in general science, and multiple other lines of science put the nail in the coffin of all of them.

              Are you omniscient ?
No – nobody is. The closest I have come to encountering anyone even remotely approaching that level of knowing everything is Alan.

Were you around at the beginning of the world to see how it began ?
Certainly not. How old do you think I am 😡❓❗️

Are you cleverer than people like CS Lewis and Gandhi ?
Possibly, when it comes to religion. It’s too late for me to debate them now. But why do you ask? Did they think murdering people for mocking religion is ok?

Which religion do you think is true?

            • They didn’t throw down any gauntlet, they created a cartoon.

            • Kitty Catkin

               /  April 14, 2017

Cartoons can be blasphemous, as well as offensive, and they went out of their way to be both-and kept on doing it. It was gauntlet-throwing, and the gauntlet was picked up. I wouldn’t think it was worth dying for that, myself. They seem to have thought that it was.

            • They had no intention of been Ng slaughtered like pigs Kitty. They are a satirical publication and as such they inspire conversation around sacred cows

            • Kitty Catkin

               /  April 15, 2017

Conversation around sacred cows-dream on. You haven’t seen their cartoons that blaspheme and are deliberately grossly offensive. They go out of their way to offend, they are told that this is dangerous, and they go ahead. It’s playing chicken-and they lost.

        • Nelly Smickers

           /  April 12, 2017

Good God….why would anyone raise *Gandhi* as an example, Catkin ❓ While he may have been known as the “Father of India”, it’s a well published fact that he *sexually abused* his young Grandnieces, who felt powerless to stop him

    More flooding.
    Another storm heading our way.
    Cyclone cook.
    Some reading
    http://people.atmos.ucla.edu/liou/Lecture/CC-Lab_2.pdf
The amount of moisture these storms brings is increasing .
By how much? We have this from a usa study.

    Groisman
    et al
    . found a linear
upward trend in precipitation amount by
7% in the 20th century in the contiguous
United States; the increases in heavy pre-
cipitation (the heaviest 5%) and very heavy
precipitation (the heaviest 1%) were much
    greater at 14% and 20%, respectively (
    19
    ).

We will continue to see flooding in the news.
It is just physics more heat more potential for extreme rainfall.
As the distribution of events shift we will see one in a hundred year events every few years.

  4. BREAKING: North Korea promises ‘POWERFUL RESPONSE’ as Kim condemns US Navy deployment

“Kim Jong-un’s state-owned news agency KCNA claimed Trump’s deployment showed “reckless moves for invading” that had now “reached a serious phase”.

It comes after Trump sent the aircraft carrier USS Carl Vinson into the Sea of Japan after several provocative missile launches from Kim’s communist nation.

The quiet smug arrogant look of Muslim women. The look Parti and Kitty say ‘doesn’t exist.’

Oh, for Heaven’s sake, these two young women are smiling happily. There’s nothing smug here, and nothing arrogant. If one wasn’t wearing a hijab, you’d see a beautiful young woman smiling. Because she is, you assume that she looks smug and arrogant. To assume that millions of people all have the same facial expression is crazy.

         /  April 11, 2017

I can’t see anything smug in these particular photos, I’m just not interested in being overrun with muslims who demand our freedoms are taken away. Muslim women get their instructions elsewhere and do what they’re told otherwise they’re dead or don’t have a face. I revert to Nellie’s post 2 down, tell Australian Christians to F*** Jesus if you wear a cross. I loathe religion, loathe religious conflict, how muslims and western world is one religious conflict – not working out well, lets say. I have a friend who came from India who migrated to NZ to get away from religious conflicts – (even more stupidity in that country), but she said she was regularly assaulted on public transport and couldn’t get home in the afternoons because people who couldn’t fit into the local temple prayed outside their door. They couldn’t get to their homes because of praying people on the streets. Stupid stuff.

How many muslims live in your street Kitty? [Deleted. PG]

        • Kitty Catkin

           /  April 12, 2017

I don’t know if any do, but I wouldn’t mind if they did. I know that there wee some, but don’t know if they were in this street or one off it; we used to exchange waves and greetings.

Using the expression ‘overrun’ of human beings is very derogatory. It’s the sort of thing that was said in 1930s Germany of Jews-whose numbers were similar as a % to Muslims here.. The number of any immmigrant group in NZ is hardly so great as to warrant this racist response. .

Nelly is so bigoted that she will believe and repeat scurrilous stories without checking their veracity-or wondering about it.

      http://www.nzherald.co.nz/sport/news/article.cfm?c_id=4&objectid=11836304

As a jersey sponsor, BNZ are one of the Blues’ biggest backers behind principal sponsor nib, an insurance company which features on the front of the jersey

If SBW is actually true to his ‘principles’, this could be great news for the ‘Blues’. It would be rather hypocritical for him to collect a salary from the very same sponsors, whose logo he refuses to display, WOULDN’T IT??? So logic dictates that he will be ‘playing for the love of the game’, this season.

    On a lighter note, for G & P…

    …and then it dawned

Discounting the lunatic fringe who seemed hellbent on proving they had nothing better to do with their time than breed ticks it seemed to me there was a correlation between the number of downticks awarded and the political leaning of the recipient. Leftist commenters were by and large immune while right thinking folks were hammered with downticks. The more rational and sane the post the more the stinky thumb twitched

So I devised an exceptionally cunning plan to test the theory. I crafted a short but mildly provocative paragraph praising John Key and ridiculing his counterpart David Cunliffe. This would be followed a respectable amount of time later with the exact same paragraph, but this time substituting John with David. Ticks, up and down, would be logged and compared to test the hypothesis

But in order for the plan to work I needed to eliminate as much as possible the variables. Time of day was problematic. I needed a representative sample of working folks as well as the less fortunate idle. So I thought I’d launch at dinner time since most folks are home and like to eat before they blog. How long to wait between posts was a challenge. Too soon and the less muddled headed would twig to it. Conversely too long and the test sample would change. I went with 21 days. Day of the week was an inspired choice

While the results were no surprise the extent of the swing was extraordinary!

G, you appear to have missed the message. This wasn’t about two politicians and their popularity. Rather it was a reflection of the degree to which right thinking posters don’t feel the need to tick away, but tend to be comfortable with the simple act of posting and/or reflecting on the thoughts of others. As opposed to the penis envy displayed by the left and their futile belief that ticks either way achieve something more than exercising a few electrons. Cheers,c
