Hekia’s last throw of the dice….she is scrapping the decile school rating system and implementing what will be know as ‘The Predictive Risk Index.’ That will target individual students for help and funding using government data, instead of the present system where schools get funding dependant on decile rating, especially for Maori kids.

That would mean the schools presently receiving funding based on decile ratings will lose massive amounts of funding because not all their pupils are ‘at risk.’ The higher decile schools will be the winners. That’s if I’m reading this right.

Of course the teacher unions are whining already. Hopefully today they have worked out what they will be objecting to.

Government data sounds like a recipe for trouble. Missing or fake – both will have consequences.

Agreed. Data is dependant on a chain of bureaucrats. We unfortunately know how that works out on occasions.

Exactly Blazer. The less the Government thinks it knows, the less likely it is to do something stupid about it.

As for the data, when we built the SWIFTT social welfare system and audited the data from the old databases nearly half of the “client” entries didn’t even have the correct sex.

Some people are a bit more adventurous than others Al. The missionary position is not a statutory requirement.

As Wayne said, “It makes you wonder how on God’s earth these blokes *got into the country to start with*…..and just how much *Meth* actually made it’s way onto our streets in the meantime? You’d have to agree, $40 mil ain’t a bad haul for an unemployed Chinaman running around Auckland for the last couple of years. The frightening thing is this would probaly be the tip of the iceberg 😡

Have a young relly who is working as a car groomer and odd jobs person for a major car dealership. Yesterday he was telling me how he had taken 36 grand in cash to the bank for depositing. ” Was the customer who handed the money over, Asian” I asked.
‘Eh, how did you know,’ was his reply. He wasn’t to happy when I told him the bank had flagged that money transaction and his mugshot would be at Police and SIS headquarters before he exited the bank. He thought I was joking.

There has been ‘rumors’ of this for a while now.. & that ‘Sky-city’ is not really a casino, BUT a chinese laundry. Then the ‘cleaned cash’ is used to buy real estate & other luxury assets (most in Akld. ?) 😦

SO.. Mr T says climate change is a myth/chinese conspiracy.. well maybe he should be invited to tell the folks in the BOP or here in Sth D & see what reaction he gets ?

Maybe you ‘Righties’ need to get your heads out of your ‘As’ & look out the window.. earning the next $million is not the only thing that matters to many, who ARE concerned about.. where they might be living in the near future 😦

Yes, they are saying this storm might be as bad as the Wahine storm. Let’s see, that was in 1968. So no climate change since then?

    ⭐ FUN FACT ⭐

*North Korea* has 28 state-approved haircuts….18 for women and 10 for men.
The commy-state ordered young men to model their hairstyle after that of *Dear Leader*, while yong ladies were told to keep their hair bobbed like Kimmie’s wife ….LOL ❗

    Take your pick –

Interesting, Trumpenreich. I wouldn’t say “watch out tradies” though, as the machine still requires a tradesman to program it. I’d say “Watch out labourers”….
