Two out of three ain’t bad

I enjoyed Bat out of hell back in the day…

…but I just put it in here because it went with the headline.

This is being promoted on Facebook:

I was born in August, and I’ve listened to a bit of Hendrix, so two out of three ain’t bad.

There’s probably a few best solos ever around but this ain’t bad either…

…but there may be a few old fans without enough teeth to do play like that.

    Leo or Virgo?

    • That should be obvious from my personality. I am exactly the same as about 600 million other people who were born under the same sign.

This is a hard one… I will go with Virgo and Leo ascending. Or Leo with Virgo ascending. You show more Virgoian traits than Leo…..but your relentless stalking is a Leo trait. However, your comments show little the of show pony Leo character. Incidently, I’m the former. Born in September. I will never forgive those who sullied my sacred birth month with 9/11.

        • I’m supposedly Leo but always was a bit of a non-conformist – what does that make me? Being largely the opposite of what a Leo is supposed to be has always made me very sceptical of astrology – as has logic.

I might be star dust but the position of stars and planets and the sun when I was born can have had little to no influence on my character. Genetics and upbringing are much closer to home on character traits – and where one fits into the sibling order is quite influential as well.

I’m offended by your “relentless stalking” comment.

Please don’t be offended by the ”relentless stalking” comment. What I meant by that was you never give up on a debate whether you’re winning or taking a beat.

The way you wind the comrades up at The Standard, get banned, then come back and give them another serve is an example.

Re astrology. Most people only know their Sun Sign. Sun signs are very general. Its what’s happening in the houses that tell a story. The stars impel but do not compel. Man always has free will…..its just few men exercise their free will. They never sit down and ask themselves what patterns keep repeating in their lives,. Those patterns are the stars. Will power and intent are the solution.
