One word describing Trump

What word first comes to mind when you think about Donald Trump?

More about that later.

The latest RCP average approval for Trump is swinging against him again after the Syrian missile attack, North Korean tough talk and Afghanistan big bomb bump subsides.

It is now 42.1% approve to 52.9% disapprove.

Quinnipiac is worse than that, with their latest poll showing Trump on 36% approve and 58% disapprove. See Quinnipiac University Poll

May 10, 2017 – U.S. Voters Send Trump Approval To Near Record Low; Quinnipiac University National Poll Finds; No Winner In Media War, But Voters Trust Media More

American voters disapprove 58 – 37 percent of the way the news media covers Trump.

Voters disapprove 65 – 31 percent of the way Trump talks about the media.

And voters trust the media more than Trump 57 – 31 percent to tell the truth about important issues.

Trump’s first 100 days in office have been “mainly a failure,” 58 percent of voters say, while 38 percent say they have been “mainly a success.”

By a 54 – 38 percent margin, American voters want the Democratic Party to win control of the U.S. House of Representatives.

Quinnipac is a ridiculous outlier so what is the point of citing it? You may as well cite Fox News in the other direction which has Trump at 45% approval, 58% disapproval. Quinnipac’s spread is double most others:

Typo: Fox 45% approval, 48% disapproval.

Highly paid and professional niece in San Francisco, now American, (married to a Muslim) voted for Trump. Her reason was that he was the only option outside the corrupt disaster that the entrenched political options had become. It was a chance to go back to the drawing board to some degree and while not a ringing endorsement of Trump per se he was the only choice if you wanted to put a cracker under the ‘system’ – which is broken.

So, your one word is Cracker? 😳

    SMUG !

  8. All of those who treat Trump like a fool indicate to me your lack of judgement about people’s character and probably behind the assessment is the god old green monster. I recommend you read or listen to Condolezza Rice’s observations about Trump and the Comey decision, then reflect upon what you have said.

Your article can’t be read until you’ve given your one word for Trump, Bj.

Just how it is. Don’t blame me. I don’t make the rules.

      • Anyone who claims one word can summarise a man who won the election for President, has married a beautiful wife, and sired some really attractive children, who doesn’t drink alcohol, is a multi billionaire and capable of surprising the world by his dealing acumen, has got to be conceited, and dumb.

You’re over-analysing it. This isn’t SIGINT or HUMINT or COMINT or ELINT.

All you need to do is say the first word that comes to mind when you think about Donald Trump. Like, of those you mentioned above, what one came first – Beautiful? Wife? Attractive? Sire? Children? Teetotaller? God? Green? Monster? Billionaire? Conceited? Dumb? Or was it something else?

This is the 21st century Bill, and that is no longer an insult.

      • Bill Brown

Was not meant to be an insult!

I watching (American) TV and they analysed the guy – it was quite funny, and they decided he was most likely gay
