RNZ audience up

Radio New Zealand has revamped itself and as a result it’s audience is climbing.

Here are the latest survey numbers:

That has to be good as media options have fragmented a lot over the last decade in particular.

Content is important but a lack of advertising must help a lot now as people more actively seek respite from the commercial onslaught.

I think that having a public broadcast option is essential.

Given many good talkback hosts are gone, I’m guessing National Socialist Radio is picking up refugees leaving talkback. For example, if you turn to ZB when Marcus Lush is on, you will hear him talking to himself nine times out of ten. The last time I checked on him he went eighteen minutes without a caller. He must be for the chop soon.

Yep, that’s right Einstein. I turned the radio on and sat on the end of the bed timing him.
As for a lot happening in my life. Lets see how you get on next month talking to yourself.. yourself and yourself…and the chap in London. I’m up voting you out of sympathy.

  2. Oh ohhhh … improvements in National Socialist Radio audience numbers can only mean one thing …

National Socialism is becoming more popular!

Yet simultaneously the people at RNZ are ‘Looney Lefties’ aren’t they?

This can only mean one thing …

    • … either National Socialism is a Left-Wing movement?

Or the title ‘National Socialist Radio’ is an utterly nonsensical, patently absurd, ridiculously perverse, puerile and infantile term coined by Right-Wing village idiots?

      • Wiki – National Socialism “is the ideology and practice associated with the 20th-century German Nazi Party and Nazi Germany, as well as other *FAR RIGHT GROUPS*. Usually characterised as a form of fascism that incorporates scientific racism and antisemitism”

Nup! RNZ definitely ain’t that …

Don’t listen thst much to radio but gave up on Newstalk ZB. Usually listen to RNZ if I listen at all these days, but not enough to know who’s worth listening to. John Campbell puts me off for some – dramatic overacting maybe.

”Yet simultaneously the people at RNZ are ‘Looney Lefties’ aren’t they?”

I never called them looney. They just don’t get how biased they are…hence the moniker.
And lets not forget- living on other peoples money.

If it is that successful then it should be self-funded with advertising as a commercial operation. There is absolutely no balance in politics or diversity of hosts.

Rubbish. Whenever I’ve listened, whichever politician, of whatever party, has been getting interviewed the interviewer has tried to catch them out & make them look dodgy or stupid.

Yes, that’s why I have lost interest in political interviews. I can’t think when I last heard an interviewer trying to learn something rather than win a trick.
