“Trump to send arms to Kurdish YPG in Syria:
US president approves direct weapons shipments to Syrian Kurdish fighters battling ISIL despite Turkish warnings.”

Defence Secretary Mattis sounding a bit lost about about strategy, & Sean Spicer indicating possibility of US troops being sent all over de whol damn worl’ wherever the “National Security” of America or of its friends and allies are ‘threatened’*, in the embedded video. These chaps are a bit of worry. Hope they know what they’re doing. Muslims. It’s not tiddlywinks. 😬

The Recep is meeting The Donald next week. No doubt we’ll be hearing what a *great friend* of Donald’s he is afterwards. Tricky business. Dealing with the Turks & the Kurds.

Update: Dareen Abughaida on Aljaz tv just featured a video clip of a Turkish Government spokesman telling reporters this decision by Trump to arm the Kurds is “unacceptable” & President Erdogan will be telling President Trump that when he meets him next week.
