A defamation trial

There seems to be a defamation trial continuing but there has been very little coverage of it.

Stuff seems to be the only one doing anything ongoing. Love poems and hot saunas: Week one of the Colin Craig trial

That adds little to previous reports, it must have been a slow day today.

It seems to have been oversold a bit as a $16 million trial. Maybe if significantly new comes up media may put a bit more out.

Even WO seems to be very subdued about it, just one post today.

Some of the material being reported in the case happened 6 (6!) years ago – is it perhaps possible that there are more recent and pressing stories that are on the current media radar?

[Deleted. I haven’t seen this reported in media, and I’m aware that some content of the trial has been suppressed, so as a precaution I only want evidence that is reported by media repeated here. PG]

I was only there for the afternoon, but from what I saw it appeared Mr Craig looked a exhausted and seems to be battling a serious cold.Poor chap, hope he recovers over the weekend so he can hammer Slater hard when he gives evidence. He needs to be held to account like that Williams character.

Great to hear some accurate commentary, from a completely impartial witness… 😛

Wonder if Craig could be done for election fraud given he supposedly called the flyer an election mailer ????

Clearly it was not an election mailer at all

    • “Supposedly called” is not sufficient, that could be used to insinuate anything without backing it up with anything. If you’re going to make accusations related to the current case then please back them up with details/links.

What did he call the flyer? Has that been reported on this week? Or from the last trial?

[Deleted, that abusive tone isn’t appropriate here as I think you know. PG]
