Your NZ is a mostly political and social issues blog but not limited to that, and views from anywhere on the political spectrum are welcome. Some ground rules:

      Pete is half left, & I’m sure he appreciates your concern, Kitty. Whatever happened to ‘Woodstock Friday’? I know it’s late, and I suspect I’m not the only night owl still about…

        We had a real monsoon, and branches are down in the next street-the river is very high and a park beside it is now a lake. I saw that Dunedin had been hit-or am I mistaken ? I had rain coming under the front door and in through two windows-only the second time that this has happened. Then today it was fine and warm again, summer redux.
