Dotcom’s Seth Rich claim

Kim Dotcom has involved himself in the Seth Rich issuer in the US.

NBR: Dotcom’s Seth Rich claim earns him an invite to appear on Sean Hannity’s show

Kim Dotcom has managed to catch the eye of Fox News’ Sean Hannity — one of Donald Trump’s favourite broadcasters — with his claims over the unsolved murder of Democratic National Committee IT staffer Seth Rich.

Mr Rich was shot in the back near his home in Washington DC last year.

DC police have yet to solve his murder. His family believe it was a robbery gone wrong.

Since his murder, there have been conspiracy theories that Mr Rich was killed because he was the source of DNC emails supplied to Wikileaks, not Russian operatives as FBI investigations have suggested. The narrative is that he was killed in a cover-up.

Last Monday, the rumour mill re-ignited after Rod Wheeler, a Washington private investigator who was hired by the Rich family to look into the death of their son, suggested in an interview with a Fox station in Washington DC that there was “tangible evidence” the slain DNC operative had communicated with WikiLeaks before his death.

However, on Tuesday afternoon, the PI seemed to walk back his story. CNN reported the detective saying he had “no evidence” that Mr. Rich had contacted WikiLeaks and that he had “only learned about the possible existence of such evidence” through a reporter at Fox News.

Then, in a third interview later the same day, Mr Wheeler said he could not say definitively either way if the evidence existed. He had heard about it second hand.

In the middle of it all, The Washington DC Metropolitan Police Department issued a statement saying that “the assertions put forward by Mr. Wheeler [on Monday] are unfounded.”

Enter Kim Dotcom, who this weekend tweeted “If Congress includes #SethRich case into their Russia probe I’ll give written testimony with evidence that Seth Rich was @Wikileaks source” and “I knew Seth Rich. I know he was the @Wikileaks source. I was involved.”

I wonder what Dotcom’s motive is for getting involved in that.

Interesting he has come out saying he was that involved in Rich and Wikileaks.

Hasn’t Dotcom claimed there is a heap of data waiting to be dumped on the New Zealand election campaign?

He’s probably hoping to get immunity from prosecution in the U.S. by doing a deal. Don’t sue me and I will tell you what you vant to know…. Somehow I don’t think the U.S. media will be as gullible over Herr Dotcom as most NZ media is.

it seems that Dotcom has been very successful in his cases involving the crown…in NZ..the Key govts zealous pursuit of Dotcom is another indictment on 8 years of arselicking the U.S.

      • A sycophantic portrayal of a cowardly, recidivist criminal who refuses to face the music for stealing copyright on a grand scale.

I do not have an ad hom epithet handy…atm.

  3. Blazer, I accept your point. I have invested (wasted?) a lot of time reading the case for and against KDC and am still unable to come down on either side of the case. If the copyright and conspiracy cases can be taken off the table, then it is a case of looking at the omission of details of his convictions from his isa application becomes the focus of illegality. Does that merit extradition or cancellation of his visa? I do not know. Let the Supreme Court decide.

I’ve kept my eye on the Seth Rich story since his murder. The fact the Globalist media shills buried the story as fast as possible indicates how damaging this is going to eventually be for the DC Leviathan.

The Dem Party insider who leaked corrupt Hillary’s emails ( not a Russian hack ), ends up gunned down outside his apartment. Oh yeah, his recently discovered reddit profile shows he just LOVED Bernie.

Things that make you go Hmmmmmmm.

Is his evidence in the Seth Rich case like his ‘moment of truth’ email?

If so then Fox news might like to steer clear.

We reserve judgment on Kim D’s testimony. Americans deserve the revealing of info on Seth Rich’s murder: videos from security & body cameras, name of hospital, treatment at hospital, autopsy, where is the computer, what is on the computer. We note that the Democrat Liberals repeat Russia Russia Russia like a mantra, using weasel words like “meddled,” which means nothing specific — no evidence to the public of Russia. The Russia theory is the conspiracy theory. The words “conspiracy theory” are also repeated like a mantra, when the hypothesis of a DNC associate having murdered SR only requires 1 person (conspiracies require more).

The conspiracy theory element is the association by many of the Seth Rich murder with at least two other conspiracy theories:
      1. People who are a threat to the Clintons’ ambitions & ‘depravities’ are murdered
      2. The Clintons are either part of, or puppets of, those running the Deep State.

Is the Russian hack of the US election a conspiracy theory – ie no evidence. Just asking

        • There is evidence that there are a number of high level investigations into whether there were Russian attempts to interfere in the US election.

I suggest it’s quite a big deal to find out whether there is any evidence or not.

Absolutely. Until some conclusive unrebuttable evidence turns up – that is ALL it is. Fuck, I wouldn’t trust US Intelligence on something like this. While they are bitching about Russian interference others are bitching about the Chinese catching & bumping off their spies. The US IC’s hypocrisy is staggering.

So it appears that conspiracy theories are rampant on both sides of the divide until there is evidence. Motive is another question which I find interesting also. The DNC appear to be throwing their all at conspiracy theories to move towards a Trump impeachment. Why do you think that is? It does appear that there is some dirty rot that could be exposed- I can’t remember a more crazy time in US politics

Neither can I Maureen. I don’t think there ever has been a more crazy time in US politics. The system is so politicised & corrupted by vested interests it’s rooted, imo. Trump is susceptible to the oligarchs & the Military Industrial complex will be rubbing their hands with glee. What’s all that US steel going to be used for? Where are a lot of those jobs turning up? Once you manufacture arms for sale on a large scale, you go looking for buyers beond your borders.
