    Manchester Terror attack, today’s developments:

    * UK police have suspended sharing information on the attack with US agencies
    * Theresa May spoke to Donald Trump in Brussels today telling him the leaks were unacceptable and undermined the special relationship
    * Donald Trump has vowed to get to the bottom of the leaks and prosecute those responsible to the full extent of the law if they are identified

    * British Transport police are putting armed patrols on trains for the first time ever

We are in the midst of the Manchester terrorist attack (s) with children lying in pieces on the ground, a perpetrator born in the West, and we get this:

‘Appeal court declines to reinstate Trump’s travel ban, saying president appeared to target Muslims unlawfully.’

Unbelievable, what a sick culture we have become. At least the Trumpy will be able to look Americans in the eyes when the next batch of innocent Americans are exterminated by Islam.

According to some people who reside in a world of laws and things legal, after giving due consideration to the matter, say the President appeared to target Muslims unlawfully.

When some Muslim born and living in the USA goes crazy and ‘exterminates’ the next batch of innocent Americans in the USA, do you think President Trump will be stupid enough to look Americans in the eyes and say, “There you go, the Appeals Court not upholding the ban caused this?” Or be that thick to even imply it?

And should he be that thick and even imply it, do you really expect anyone to be that thick that they can’t see the irrationality of the connection?

They haven’t said the law itself is targeting Muslims unlawfully – because it simply doesn’t. It targets countries and citizens of theose countries no matter their race or religion.
The court is saying that due to his statements while campaigning they can interpret that targeting Muslims was his intent when formulating the law.

          • “The court is saying that due to his statements while campaigning they can interpret that targeting Muslims was his intent when formulating the law.”

I thought the job of the court was to interpret the law, not interpret what they think the President might have been thinking about when proposing a law, or even some months before proposing the law, which apparently was originally proposed by Obama anyway. This court would appear to be staffed by thirteen year-olds, or closet Muslims. See Alan Wilkinson below.

I see words in your comments but little else.

1- First, parts of Islam have declared war on the West ( you know beheading, and blowing stuff up) When someone declares war on you, I think a good thing to do is protect yourselves. Leave due considerations for after the borders are secure ( as Trump wanted)

2- ”When some Muslim born and living in the USA goes crazy and ‘exterminates’ the next batch of innocent Americans in the USA.”

How did these American Muslims get into the country? Because mum and dad were allowed in.( then they bred junior). Obviously, you can only manage Muslims legally in the US. But guess what- if no more Muslims or people from troubled countries aren’t allowed in, that helps limit the problem.

3- ‘President Trump will be stupid enough to look Americans in the eyes and say, “There you go, the Appeals Court not upholding the ban caused this?” Or be that thick to even imply it?

I’ll simplify that for you….. he will be able to sleep at night and feel at ease with his conscious when he addresses the American people.

I am being specific…ISIS, hate preachers( kill the Infidel), lone wolf attackers, the Koran…the Muslims in surveys who admit to believing terrorist attacks are acceptable.

I think you are still stuck in the mindset of nations declaring war on each other.

              @Corky…

‘ ISI’s ranks were swelled by former Sons of Iraq, many of whom had previously been commanders and soldiers in Saddam’s military. This gave Baghdadi’s fighters the air of an army, rather than a rag-tag militant outfit.
With thousands of armed men now at his disposal, Baghdadi opened a second front against the Shiites—in Syria, where there was a largely secular uprising against President Bashar al-Assad
              .
What mattered to Baghdadi and his propagandists was that Assad and many of his senior military commanders were Alawites, members of a Shiite sub-sect
              .
Battle-hardened from Iraq, ISI was a much more potent fighting force than most of the secular groups, and fought Assad’s forces to a standstill in many areas’…..A creation from the Iraqi invasion.Thank Blair and…Bush.

Appeals court politically split decision – all three judges appointed by Republicans dissented from the opinion supported by all judges appointed by Democrats.

US justice system is a broken political remnant – no independent jurists.

  2. And in news elsewhere, using pigeons to run their drugs.

“A homing pigeon has been caught smuggling more than 170 ecstasy pills in a homemade ‘backpack’ after police tracked its progress across the border of two countries.

The bird was stopped with the sack strapped to its back as it soared between Iraq and Kuwait.

Al Arabiya reports carrier pigeons are increasingly being used in the region as an unorthodox drug smuggling technqiue.

Local media reports state the bird was caught above a building conveniently near Kuwait’s customs department in the capital Kuwait City.”

And for the catty post of the day (yes I admit it, I can be catty at times). 🙂

Someone doesn’t look happy to be upstaged by a taller, skinnier, younger first lady, and I don’t mean Queen Mathilde.

That French Shelia isn’t like most delightful French ladies. She should save that look for when her husband starts losing massive support after the next French massacre.

Great picture of the First Lady. America at its finest.

Yes, I’m sure they are pleased. But they would be a poor substitute. For you that new Sally Op Shop up North may keep you on the straight and crooked…I mean narrow.

Well, Kanye West or The Rock might replace him … or maybe Alec Baldwin?

               /  May 26, 2017

I think we should go with Alec Baldwin. He’s taking off Trump so often I think he has forgotten who he is.

          • I nearly split my sides when he did that. Pure narcissist comedy gold.
