Trump is a coarse peasant who has had the temerity to attack London’ mayor, Sir Alan. Should he step foot in the Kingdom, he should most appropriatel be apprehended immediately by her majesty’s loyal guards & be removed to The Tower as Twitter Bomber until arrangements have beeb made to deport him to Australia. His job is to reresent the citizens of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, not the citizens of England.

Damnable proof reading on my part, Sir Alan. May have had one too many G&T’s. But I believe the import of my post is clear.

I remain, with respect, your most implaccable enemy

I think he probably resents the citizens of Pittsburgh but not the others, Sir Gerald. The Lord Mayor of London probably doesn’t command the total support of the Government, being from the opposition Labour party so I doubt Not Sir Donald has too much to fear in England although he probably prefers to visit his golf course in Scotland.

Just when I was beginning to warm to the fellow, he behaved like an oafish serf. It is unconscionable, Sir Alan. The man is positively unhinged.

Dammit G, put that persuasion filter back on. Stop hanging off every pubic utterance and start focusing on outcomes

               /  June 6, 2017

The outcomes for Britain in the case of the matter of Islamic terrorism, separatism, & fundamentalism will be determoned & driven ultimately by the majority of the genuinely British population, c. Not by Trump. His interference in British affairs will be rightly resented by most Brits, even if they share his setiments, imo.

Mind your own fucking business The Donald. Get on with your program at home, & be judged by the voters on its outcomes & your suitability for President. I have an open mind about that, but not an empty head.

G, his tweets weren’t intended for a brit audience. This was highly targeted subliminal message reinforcement to his domestic market. And don’t lather up too much over it. As an old zen monk used to say to me ‘words can’t even move leaves on the trees’. Cheers,c

I know, & I don’t lather up about it. I merely observe that it personifies the Ugly American, rich, arrogant, uncaring about any collateral damage in pursuing his Me First & America The Best, fuck anybody else personality that I find objectionable & potentially damaging for the US & others. Let’s leave it there c. I am still undecided whether he is a spoilt brat bully with no self control or a man pursuing a determined plan to achieve good for US citizens, or a combination of both. More observations are required.

The same mayor of London that says London is one of the safest cities in the world though ironically since he became mayor is far less safe than it used to be?

Hardly his doing; as well blame the mayors who were there during the IRA reign of terror for that.

For some reason, this, which was the most recent and went on for years was not mentioned on the news when they talked about London terrorism in the past. I remember seeing the soldiers with automatic weapons, fingers on triggers, on tall platforms at Heathrow when I first went to the UK. .

Arrogance is never deserved Blazer. I should have said with an arrogance that is unjustified. Arrogance is also never justified, although there are times when it might seem at least understandable, if not pleasant to deal with. Older Medical Specialists, such as surgeons, sometimes illustrate this.

You strike me as an angry individual. Even your humour tends towards the sarcastic. It’s like it colours your whole personality to the point where you see a simple expression of a differing view from yours or an enquiry made out of interest from anyone as one that must have some sort of (non-existent) negative agenda – some kind of attack, some attempt to knock you out, to win, to dominate. Because that’s how you view the world, or this forum, or other people’s opinions, so you think that must be how all others see it too. You hide it by pretending to be driven by virtue. You’re unpleasant. You’re nasty. I don’t know why. You just seem to need to be.

You sometimes give pause for thought, you have given me useful insights, you on occasion have persuded me with videos or a good srgument without too many ellipses to your point of view. My worldview is more polychromatic than yours, Blazer, and my admittedly also probably flawed character needs constant work to improve. I do not like to hurt people unnecessarily. I try to respect all posters here. My humour often has a subtlety & embedded message not all who post here here might see. Hopefully they know who they are. They are often bastards that I like, even if they disagree with me. Because they articulate their thinking, explain things Indidn’t know, & help me clarify my own views. I’m not gonna name names, but there are a lot of them.

I meant to say above, hopefully those who do get my pearls of wisdom, inside a jocular comment, small though those might be, know who they are. I don’t have agendas. I say what I think. I try to understand & learn when others respond or do the same. Sorry if this sounds like a lecture. It’s not. It’s an explanation.

Do you think I have false sincerity Blazer?

          • The IRA were pathetic no-hopers who blamed all their inadequacies on the British. There were not 1.6 billion of them and they did not have a concerted, neo-religious plan to destroy the whole of Western civilisation. They just wanted to kill a few defenceless babies and make themselves feel important. They fell apart when their ‘leaders’ were bought off with political sinecures and a few vague, meaningless promises.

Actually Kitty part of it is his doing, he scaled back stop and search and knife crime is up, and other violent crimes are on the increase, since he became mayor. The safety of the city is not just terror related.

Last week there were at least two deaths from stabbing that were not related to the terrorist attack on Saturday night, one was on Friday evening in Southeast London, and the other was in Vauxhall on Saturday night. In East London there was an acid attack, and two more people seriously injured in knife attacks.

Crime has increased since Sadiq Khan became mayor after he pledged to lower it, but removed some of the measures for the Met to help with prevention.

It has also come out that as late as Friday night the Mayor and City of London Corporation rejected a recommendation to put up barriers on London’s Bridges to stop another attack like the one in Westminster. The Mayor and COLC have reportedly continually resisted instituting some of the measures recommended in a report HE commissioned last year after the Nice attack – including bollards to protect pedestrianised areas from vehicles.
