I am thinking of trying yoga, there is a new type of yoga in London which might be okay, it is Beer Yoga!

I can’t,.won’t believe it. Fanatics like Parti don’t ride off into the sunset. They die at the keyboard. He has morphed. It’s just a matter of finding him/her/it.

        • Well he ain’t been back here, you can bet on that. Unlike you & I, who can, on occasion, manage short bursts of compacted erudition, Parti would be congenitally unable to alter his commenting style.

American business Peter Thiel spends 12 days (usually 1350 days) in New Zealand and hits the jackpot with New Zealand Citizenship and most of the $25-$30 million profit in a joint venture with NZ government. Not bad for a couple of weeks work.

        • A billionaire innovator extraordinaire. Why wouldn’t we accept someone who had contributes so much on the world stage.

Thiel was born in Frankfurt, and holds German citizenship. He moved with his family to the United States as an infant, and spent a portion of his upbringing in Africa before returning to the U.S.. He studied philosophy at Stanford University, graduating with a B.A. in 1989. He then went on to the Stanford Law School, and received his J.D. in 1992. After graduation, he worked as a judicial clerk for Judge James Larry Edmondson, a securities lawyer for Sullivan & Cromwell, a speechwriter for former-U.S. Secretary of Education William Bennett and as a derivatives trader at Credit Suisse prior to founding Thiel Capital in 1996. He then co-founded PayPal in 1999, and served as chief executive officer until its sale to eBay in 2002 for $1.5 billion.
After the sale of PayPal, he founded Clarium Capital, a global macro hedge fund. He launched Palantir Technologies, an analytical software company, in 2004 and continues to serve as its chairman as of 2016. His Founders Fund, a venture capital firm, was launched in 2005 along with PayPal partners Ken Howery and Luke Nosek. Earlier, Thiel became Facebook’s first outside investor when he acquired a 10.2% stake for $500,000 in August 2004. He sold the majority of his shares in Facebook for over $1 billion in 2012, but remains on the board of directors. He also co-founded Valar Ventures in 2010 and operates as its chairman, co-founded Mithril Capital, of which he is investment committee chair, in 2012, and has served as a partner at Y Combinator since 2015.[7][8][9]
Thiel is involved with a variety of philanthropic and political pursuits. Through the Thiel Foundation, he governs the grant-making bodies Breakout Labs and Thiel Fellowship, and supports life extension, seasteading and other speculative research. A founder of The Stanford Review, he is a conservative libertarian who is critical of excessive government spending, high debt levels, and foreign wars. He has donated to numerous political figures, and provided financial support to Hulk Hogan in Bollea v. Gawker.”

Interestingly enough, Blazer, my wife & I were discussing this yesterday, and comparing our childhood experiences. I was raised in an atheist family, & neither I nor my sisters were ‘interfered with’ during our childhood. My wife, however, was raised in a churchgoing family, and two men from the church ‘tried it on’ with her, before she was 16…

Since I’m in a ‘storytelling mood’, allow me to elaborate a little, on what my ‘ataahua wahine’ has told me, about ‘good christian folk’….
At the tender old age of 13, my wife was offered the opportunity to earn a little ‘pocket money’, cleaning the house of another churchgoing couple. An Indian man, with a white Kiwi wife. Both worked, he did nightshift, and she worked during the day. So my now wife, at the tender old age of 13, got tasked with doing the housework, while the wife wasn’t there, & he was supposedly asleep. Supposedly…..
She had never been ‘touched there’ before. But he snuck up behind her, restrained her from behind, then ‘touched her there’. She didn’t know WTF was happening. One minute she is cleaning the bathroom, nek minute she has her arms held behind her, and a hand down her pants. She told me that she was scared at first, but then it started to feel good. But then she remembered where she was, & who he was. She escaped, ran away to the toilet, and locked the door.
Ma & Pa came to pick her up eventually. She reckons she spent a couple of hours locked in the toilet, with the dirty filthy bastard on the other side of the door, telling her that she should stop being naughty.
She got told off by her parents on the way home. She tried to tell them what he had done, but they were having none of it. They told her that if this was how she was going to behave, she wouldn’t be going back there again. Funnily enough, she didn’t protest…
She shared this with me, shortly after we got married. Obviously, it made me REALLY ANGRY, especially when I found out that the offender was still a respected member of her parents church.
I eventually met the offender, at a church function. Churchies are quite fond of shaking hands, so he offered me his. I grabbed it, & squeezed it with all the force I could muster. I recall hearing a few ‘cracks’, when I did so. I looked him straight in the eye, and said, “Good to finally meet you mate. My wife has told me ALL ABOUT YOU!”. My wife was standing right beside me when this happened, and was chuckling for weeks after, about how terrified he looked! 😀

I am pleased to announce the surgery on the separated zip of the coin pocket in my utility key wallet was successful & the patient is expected to make full recovery.

Although it was necessary to excise a 2 mm section of the R zip track to regain access for the slider, & to create a new zip stop by firmly suturing the wound at that point, the repaired joint still retains sufficient range of movement to be fully functional and continues to permit the easy storage and retrieval of a small quantity of coins for buskers & assorted other mendicants whom I deem worthy of my charity.

    Thank you. That is all.
