What’s wrong with blood and soil nationalism? Pundits are flipping out about Trump’s “Defend the West” speech:

“Such rhetoric is meant to conjure blood-and-soil nationalism. Here, Trump is defining the West not based on ideals like democracy and liberty, but atavistic loyalties to territory and shared kinship.”

Nothing wrong with it all. The peoples of those countries with their own shared languages, tribes, & ethnicities fought hard against imvaders & oppressors – & died – to create & defend their own independent states.

Wow, I had to read that 3 times, looking for an ironic tone….but you seem to actually mean it.

I thought you were anti Trump…?

You try unsuccessfully to read to read my mind. Nobody can read minds. They can only make an assumption about what it is they would mean if they said that. I utilize irony mainly when communicating to people who can see the humour in it. Those whose sense of humour or ability to comprehend & appreciate others’ perspectives are too narrow, and/or who are, well, just egotistical & not much else personality-wise, might misinterpret it as sarcasm. I can’t help that. I use it as wit.

I am a nationalist. I am not anti-Trump. But I am not so stupid my equation ever reads “Trump: whatever he does = brilliant & good & knows what he’s doing”. To me that would be foolish because he’s got obvious flaws. There’s more to him than I thought. He’s more complex than I gave him credit for. You might want to think about that when trying to read my mind.

Just go by what I say. If you’re not sure what I mean, either ignore it & move on to another black & white commenter, or ask what I mean, like you just did. 👍

Trump inherited a ticking time bomb of a ponzi scheme that has been in the making for decades by Globalists.

There is no way one individual even in a powerful position like Trump can do much about that.

Anyway, Trump is a wrecking ball swung at the heart of the Globalist Leviathan by Heritage America finally hitting back. Hopefully it is not too late.

27 people have been killed by US police in the last 7 days–that’s more people than the police in the UK, France, Denmark, Austria and Germany combined killed in all of 2015.

Police have said that the Manchester bomber did not act alone, despite almost all of those initially arrested being released without charge or de-arrested, (22 of the 23).

Yesterday another man was arrested at John Lennon Airport in Liverpool.
