Scaramucci dumped

Anthony Scarramucci has already been dumped from the role of White House communications director, 12 days after his appointment was announced and before he actually took over the position.

Scaramucci went rogue last week, but lasted long enough in the limelight to stick a dagger into Reince Priebus who was finished off as Chief of Staff by Trump.

NY Times: Trump Removes Anthony Scaramucci From Communications Director Role

President Trump has decided to remove Anthony Scaramucci from his position as communications director, three people close to the decision said Monday, relieving him just days after Mr. Scaramucci unloaded a crude verbal tirade against other senior members of the president’s senior staff.

The decision to remove Mr. Scaramucci, who had boasted about reporting directly to the president, not the chief of staff, John F. Kelly, came at Mr. Kelly’s request, the people said. Mr. Kelly made clear to members of the White House staff at a meeting Monday morning that he is in charge.

Disapproval of Trump has reached a near record high of 56.1%, with 39.2% still approving on the RCP average.

Trump accused of turning the US into a “kleptocracy”. Usually the Presidents have the decency to at until the they leave office to cash in.

Perfect depiction. Talk about crash and burn. You would have to wonder what the recruitment process looks like at the WH?

And capping off the week from hell, the latest Harvard Law Alumni directory erroneously lists Scaramucci as dead…

The fetid Washington swamp with all it’s deplorable post-modern progressives slimed real community talent out of existence.

My nephew from the States came back last nite for some beers & some 1:1 korero on us todds. He iM’d me to say he’d be here in 30 mins when kieran was asleep. His Mrs iM’d me separately to say she was sending him here. All a matter of different perspectives I guess.

40 years old. Brilliant mind. Very interesting discussion about the US health system, and the differences in their education system, & behaviour & learning abilities of kids in state & private schools over there in Maryland.

He thinks Trump’s a fruitcake, Al. Says all of his claimed achievements – except immigration control maybe – are rats n mice stuff. So called job growth is set to soon to stop & even reverse as employers stop hiring when people are not prepared to pay more to buy American. Reckons the Republicans will try to get Trump impeached & dumped on mental instability grounds. Says Americans should be scared if Mike Pence then takes.

No shortage of fruit cakes there, G. If your nephew lives in Maryland I’m guessing the haunted air he’s breathed there is staunchly Democrat. How does he think Trump can implement anything with the Senate block-voting Democrats against him plus 2-3 of rogue Republicans?

DunnoAl. He said the rich kids are flippin hard to teach science to:

          1. Any work requires too much effort
          2. He will say, ok we need to do this, and here’s why. And they’ll say … um … are you sure? Csn we talk about this? It’s much more complicated than that. We need to put a group together. We need to look at this thing from every conceivable angle. And we’ve got to have Zeb, Judes & Alister in the group, and they’re away in Europe on vacation for two weeks …
          3. This is because they are petrified of making a mistake or getting it wrong, so they don’t do it – they talk about it & then they get bored. 3 weeks later this project has gone nowhere …
          4. Kiwi students ask a couple of questions, form small groups, build it, or try it, make a screw up, tweak it. It’s done in 2 -3 days.

My guess is dad pays people to do anything that’s needed. Why shoukd they bother? And if dad’s successful & wealthy, this is America – he’ll think they’re losers if they fail. So don’t do anything if you might fail.

Anything wrong with all of those? Maybe they’re preparing for their jobs in the White House? Sounds like they fit the bill.

@Alan, you can’t expect the Democrats to hold the hand of the Senate Republicans, the Freedom Caucus are all loopy and you have to go far right to satisfy them by which time you have lost the moderates.

McConnell is busy fighting the Freedom Caucus over an Alabama Senate seat.

The rogue Republicans are probably the only sane ones, apart from the Democrats that is. You would probably find that there were a few more than 3 but that is all they needed. Why expose yourself to friendly (?) fire if you don’t need too. McCain is in a position where he does have much to loose so took the heat, a real American hero.

Didn’t sound like it, Patz. Seemed if McCain had toed the line no-one else would have broken ranks.

KAOS in the White House as TV shows takeover with “Survivor White House” taking over from “The Apprentice”. Will Trump get smart and be a survivor or will he be fired.
