Cute tweet … angling for a date with peter thiel ? … 😉
Morena Missy the day is warm but I see some rain clouds coming over from Kororareka.

In the South Is there has been another case of mycoplasma bovis disease.
A deadly cow disease, it is in 2 farms that belong to the same dairy company.

Ministry for Primary Industries spokesperson Geoff Gwynn … in his interview on rnz
said a lot of “We Don’t know the answer to that yet”
The only thing he emphatically knew about was it wasn’t in the cows going to China.WTF

There is a suggestion the dairy group might have been bringing in a different semen than other dairy farms because theirs is a different dairy farming system.

Our bio-diversity is fragile and there is not enough control at our borders .. it seems.

That story on the semen is incorrect PP. They use the two AI companies most cockies use, 12 bulls for the infected herd, so that may not be the vector.
        Early days though.
The big question down here is why Nat Radio and the media in general pronounce Van Leeuwen quite differently to the way Aard and his wife do?

Hmm Ray … yes early days as you say.
Pronouncing Van Leeuwen names wrong … sounds like there is a problem about that for the people that know the Van Leewens ?
Can you say why you think it has some important.
Humans can contact this disease thru unpasteurised milk and
          it presents itself as TB.
I see the Mad Media are now saying ‘Rich Lister’s cows’.
There robotic dairy barn at Makikihi is the size of a Mall… Huge.

Driving up to visit dad I had to follow a bus. The road’s nearly as narrow as Corky’s perspective. But all the way I had to look at a big image of Peter Dunne with the legend:

        HON PETER DUNNE
        MP FOR OHARIU
Contact me for any local issues
& the website & email addys

On the way up the road to the Rest Home I passed two prominent roadside hoardings featuring Bill’s smiling visage on blue background, & the legend ‘National – Delivering for New Zealand.’

Halfway up, I passed one hoarding featuring Greg O’Connor’s smiling visage, on red background, & the legend ‘Greg O’Connor – a Fresh Approach’. It was set back from the road, amongst some trees that made it difficult to see. Greg’s got his work cut out for him.

Always did speak his mind, tell it like it is, & not worry about who in authority or elsewhere might be miffed.

Just the sort of person they need in Caucus, imo.

            I’m conflicted G.

O’conner wanted to arm the police in order to even the odds …yet roots for the crim hugging party. Explain that to me

I can’t. You’re not making sense. Probably you need to supply a bit more information for context. After that I might be in a position to give you a perspective you might not be able to see. Hard to say at this point.

Allow me to clarify. O’Conner has always talked tough on crime. Yet he stands for a party that has historically been gutless when it comes to confronting the root causes

Ah. Yes. I see what you’re getting at. I do think National might have the best approach to this, with research-based outcome-focussed targeted social welfare & health spending, & whanau ora.

But in the other hand, Greg is new. There is I think some evidence that he is potentially open to considering worth while ideas.

In the recent past I’ve found it best, rather than to postulate & speculate, to just go straight to the rekevant source & politely enquire directly about what it is I want to know – so you might perhaps wish to do that?
              Email: greg.oconnor@labour.org.nz

It has its limitations. I enquired directly in this manner last year with their Maori Affairs spokesperson exactly what the NZF policy on the Maori seats was, & was specifically informed it would be subject to a poll of just the Maori Electorates.

As you might remember this was recently contradicted most emphatically by Der Fuhrer of the Party, but then subsequently it was reported he might be reconsidering the matter sgain – & tbh, as at this moment, I don’t know WTF their policy now is – & it’s even possible that no one else does yet either?

To tell you the truth, he’s getting on a bit, & what with dad & everything, I am wondering if the NZF leader might be suffering a bit of the old ‘Ronnie Regan’ – if you get my drift. Either that, or he’s telling different versions to different groups, depending on their level of gullibility?

Anyway, whatever on that one, I won’t be viting for the fkr.

c, I reckon just email Greg & put him on the spot. Report back?

Could it be a clause in his contract saying when he resigns or gets fired
there is to be a total blanket of silence of each other?
        otherwise why???

The fact he resigned shortly before the report came out … is suss.
Could it have been the power of the feline? that made him hire her.

“David Carter told Stuff the committee, which had representatives from National, Labour, Greens, NZ First and the Maori Party, had decided unanimously not to release the report.
representatives on the committee that said,

“Then as we were working through the whole issue he tenders his resignation and the committee said there’s no point in going any further in analysing the report.”
Yea one law for all they reckon. Yea Right.
When do Nat Lab Greens NZF and the Maori party Ever agree on Anything,

    Global warming hysteria continues….

“The new analysis assesses the impact of climate change on the deadly combination of heat and humidity, measured as the “wet bulb” temperature (WBT). Once this reaches 35C, the human body cannot cool itself by sweating and even fit people sitting in the shade will die within six hours.”

“Extreme heatwaves that kill even healthy people within hours will strike parts of the Indian subcontinent unless global carbon emissions are cut sharply and soon, according to new research”.

    And how do they know this? Yep, the same failed ‘climate models’ no doubt “carefully selected” to favour a pre-determined conclusion;

“The new work, published in the journal Science Advances, used carefully selected computer climate models that accurately simulate the past climate of the South Asia to conduct a high resolution analysis of the region, down to 25km.”
