  • Please don’t post anything illegal, potentially defamatory or abusive.

FIRST TIME COMMENTERS: Due to abuse by a few first comments under any ID will park in moderation until released (as soon as possible but it can sometimes take a while).

Sometimes comments will go into moderation or spam automatically due to mistyped ID, too many links (>4), or trigger text or other at risk criteria.

Beautiful..loved the jazz licks. I knew he was a great guitarist. I didn’t know he used jazz in his playing.

Being a major in-demand session musician in his early career he would have had to have been versatile.

    Yep, Hone wants a consitutition.

    Quote:

“We’re rolling out our policies on our website (mana.org.nz) starting with the Constitution of Aotearoa” said MANA Leader Hone Harawira. “It’ll scare some folks, but it’ll also make a lot of people feel glad that somebody is finally speaking their language”

You would have to be a nutjob voting for any Maori Party. Hell, most Maori don’t vote for them.

The bottom line of Maori politics is simple…..Maori.

Still pouring in North Welly. We got one sunny day two days ago so suppose I shouldn’t complain. That’s about as good as it gets weatherwise here for the past 13 months! 😡

So, the car’s on the slow battery charger – because overhead light left on 🙄 – so I have to walk up to New World and back, which is good exercise anyway so I shouldn’t complain. 👍🏼

But … on the way up there I pass about 20 secondary school-kids walking to skool, and apart from from one lass with a parker that only came only down to her bum, not one of these budding geniuses is wearing a raincoat. 😕

I am reasonsbly reliably informed that apparently this is because wearing a raincoat is not cool. But, apparently, sitting in school for 6 hours soaking wet – IS?

Tbh, I don’t think it’s teachers who making kids dumb. It’s gotta be the parents, surely? 😳
