Typical liberal toe-rag media. They leave it till election time to screen a programme supposedly showing a military cover up in what I assume is Afghanistan.

Is that a bit like leaving it until election time to have a ‘big fuss’ announcement about a new hospital in Dunedin?

Silly to compare a political party announcing a political policy during an election campaign against a (supposedly) unbiased MSM showing a programme during the election campaign to try and sway political opinion. Follows previous elections with Brian Bruce docos and the like in the lead up to the election. What are the chances of also being shown an anti-union doco, a doco highlighting the failure of Socialism in Venezuela, or an in-depth investigation into taxpayer money being funneled to Labour to fund their intern mess?

Labour apparently are launching their election campaign today which is funny as I could have sworn the MSM launched it for them a couple of weeks ago.

so are the motives for engagement in Afghanistan purely partisan? How are NZ’s armed forces and their behaviour attributable to National?

“Showing a programme during the election campaign to try and sway political opinion”? You know their motives?

Like I know the motivation for the cameras in Dunedin yesterday was to try and sway political opinion during the election campaign?

The building of a brand new hospital in Dunedin is newsworthy in its own right – Ardern putting back up a (suspiciously) knocked down National billboard not so much.

            • They might be getting a new hospital but it sounds like they neeed to sort out the DHB and it’s shortcomings

               /  August 20, 2017

Labour’s just going to throw more money at the hospitals no questions asked and trust they will put it to good use – all fixed.

Hats off to you for your consistency but things are descending so much I might have to start thinking that the D could stand for ‘desperate’. 😊

No matter what we do, no matter what we say!

    • TV 3 thinks Jacinda and Clarke, nasty Kelvin, sibilant Phil, sneaky Hipkins and Grant and Alf will fork out millions more than they sponge already.

why are you resorting to personal attacks on Labour politicians, instead of dissecting any policy weaknesses?

An acquaintance recently gave me a piece of Shungite rock. Apparently it has mystical powers and is used in Russia for a variety of purposes. Shungite is over 90% carbon and very light.

Initially I was unimpressed. It gave off no energy like quartz crystal points or Amethyst vugs .

However, I was able to test its ability to supposedly purify and treat water.

I took my standard household water and did a pH read. That was 7.4. Basically neutral on the ph scale. Into a cup of this water I put the Shungite and left it for 24 hours. I then retested the water. The pH had moved to 9.2.

Interesting. Maybe if I leave it in long enough I may produce a mermaid.

    • So – no magical properties at all? How disappointing. The seers will ignore the evidence and proclaim it cures all ailments and diseases

I read that aventurine, which looks like jade but is much cheaper, will make one win lotteries if it’s in one’s left pocket. Just for fun, I put my necklace of aventurine and agates into my pocket when I was doing my Lotto online…..and won a nice little prize. It worked again the next week but not after that. Oh well, it’s an attractive necklace that looks like pale jade and moonstones, so the prizes were an unexpected bonus.

Luck runs in cycles. That’s what separates pro gamblers from losing hacks. Go back and remember what days you had your win?. What time? The moon phase, and if you have the money, get your horoscope done. That will show you your more favourable times to gamble. There are other things you can do but that’s rather complicated and time consuming.

I used to think luck was dumb luck and that’s that. I was shown different. I have proved to myself luck is a force, and while not completely tameable or understood, you can definitely herd luck into coming your way and hopeful catch some of its power.

I saw a documentary about Las Vegas once, and the ‘professional gamblers’ all said much the same thing-stop while you’re ahead.

I often find that things do go in threes.

He was 89 years & 8 months old. Not a bad innings.

PS: Don’t worry, I’m not bothered by the downticks. I wondered how many I’d get. Like I’ve said before, there’s wankers everywhere & it’s obvious some of them visit YNZ. 😉

True, there are many with no class, or compassion.

I wouldn’t be surprised if they didn’t even read what the messages were, just downtick based on who posted. Though I wouldn’t call them wankers…. that is so unfair to wankers in the world! 😉

          A pretty good innings, G.

I am not an expert, but I always believe the measure of a parent is how the children turn out, and from what I know of you on here then I would say he was a good egg, and definitely will be in heaven.

Look after your ma, but don’t forget yourself!

    • So glad his end was peaceful Gezza. You take good care of Mum and yourself. xxxxx
