The funniest layout design in the Herald today has photos of Gareth Morgan and David Seymour under the heading of PREMIUM & INDEPTH (one of their sections). That title is repeated under Morgan then there is the title “Gareth Morgan and David Seymour will make you think.”

I hope they don’t expect us to think they’re ‘premium and indepth.’

    • I think you will Louise Linton is a 37 year Scot.

        key word…’style’!

        • People who demean, intimidate, bully, or belittle others and who never develop the ability to identify with the feelings of others, or put themselves in other people’s shoes – are everywhere. It’s not just rich people like Linton.

These characteristics of overt hubris and extreme entitlement are universal. The nature of Social Media merely highlights them. The’yre abusing families and intimidating workmates in neighbourhoods all around NZ.

          They’re called narcissists.

what you say is very true…by the same token to flaunt wealth, and rub it in…you first have to..acquire wealth…one way or..another. Then you probably have to be so unsure of yourself ,that this wealth actually defines you ,that you resort to craving affirmation by an ostentatious display of…materialism and extravagance.
