The Mayor of Venice has said anyone who shouts Allahu Akbar in Venice will be shot. It seems the Venetian Mayor is going for a shoot first policy.

  2. ‘Disgruntled employees’ seem to be more of a risk in the US than terrorists.

I have seen a few comments here about Macron’s declining popularity, I won’t repeat them, but it doesn’t look like his popularity is on the up after declaring his wife will not have an official role – despite him wanting it.

What also won’t help is the revelation that Macron has spent 26,000 Euro on make up since coming into office – I don’t think I have spent that on make-up since I first started wearing it in my teens!

There has been an interesting story in the last day or two here, it has exploded on social media, but been picked up in National Press.

A new Labour MP did an interview with a hard left blog in which she said she would never be friends with a Tory MP as they were the enemy. She has been roundly criticised by many – though not the hard left Corbyn and Momentum supporters – as being juvenile, childish, and engaging in Student Politics.

It has been pointed out by many that Conservatives refer to Labour MPs as the opposition, but Labour MPs tend to refer to the Conservatives as the enemy. The language used by many Labour MPs, especially the Corbyn supporters and those that are well liked by Momentum, is considered by many to be divisive and unhelpful.
