      Is your pension payment ‘special’?

    • Someone can break into all your personal emails and Facebook messaging, cherry pick details , edit them out of context, concoct a book and release it a month before an election. Who’d have thought they could do this with the intention of bringing down a government, huh!

I’d aver that a pension payment isn’t private as every citizen is entitled to the same within narrow paramaters and that if I knew your personal living/spousal relationships I’d know exactly what it was. I’d also aver that anyone of average intelligence knows after 7 years they’ve been being paid too much.

  3. Bill English’s daughter is highly accomplished. Predictably conservative. A Cambridge graduate.
She topped the world in University Entrance English.

    “Maria English

Maria chose management consultancy with Boston Consulting Group in Sydney because after doing a broad and abstract degree in politics at Cambridge, she wanted to gain solid, technical skills in the ‘real world’ across a variety of industries, on high level problems, “And business is integral to how the world works,” she adds.“Eventually I would like to do something useful for New Zealand,” right now, she’s focused on learning as much as possible and building her knowledge base.

Maria grew up on a farm with five brothers and resilience is probably one of the most important qualities she developed. “I have country kid pragmatism, I learned to defend myself and a big family has given me belief in the importance and power of collectives and being a team player.”

“I learnt a lot from being in an international environment and debating played a big part including the World University Debating Championships, European Debating Championships, Cambridge Union tour of America, coaching and judging around Britain. I interned at the Center for Strategic & International Studies in Washington DC, 2012.”

      TIASU…

Pretty girl, obviously intelligent. Of course, it all starts in the home. A stable home, loving parents who don’t have gender issues, or new partners each month, goes a long way to giving kids a head start in life.

            Watched this movie yesterday.
It gives a window into 2 sides of Maori men and how they roll.
Cried like a child at the ‘main’ point of the movie.
Ironically Pana Hema Taylor belonged to the mongrel mob
            before he became an actor
The baddy Brownie was played very well by Jamus Webster
actor and assistant director who despises gangs and had some concerns playing this role. Maybe that is why it was played OTT

I watched that when it was shown on tv1 possum. I lived together with Lynette for a year when I first came to Welly, until she worked out I was a selfish young bugger & left me. It cured me of my selfishness, though.
Lynette was part-fijian & lived in Marfell, where Chris Crean was murdered by Black Power.

Her old man didn’t like me, & the day he decided to – we turned up for Xmas, & told him we were splitting up. So the bugger didn’t like me all over again!

When I used to visit their place, in that same state housing street that Chris was murdered in – the gangs didn’t exist & it was an ok place. I loathe them.

The Whaler beat me to this one. This case is very similar to one in New Zealand. You may remember it as the Ashraf Choudhary case. He was also a Leftie MP.

    Wiki quotes:

”Before entering Parliament, Choudhary had worked with a number of community organizations, including such groups as the New Zealand Federation of Ethnic Councils and FIANZ – the Federation of Islamic Associations of New Zealand (of which he was president in 1984–85). In his capacity as president of FIANZ he oversaw the first annual halal meat contract with the New Zealand Meat Producers Board in June 1984.”

    So it naturally follows that:

”In July 2005 Choudhary came to the public’s attention again when he refused to condemn outright the practice of stoning people for homosexual and extramarital sexual behaviour. In TV3’s 60 Minutes show on 4 July 2005, Dr. Choudhary was asked: “Are you saying the Qur’an is wrong to recommend that gays in certain circumstances be stoned to death?” He replied: ” No, no. Certainly what the Qur’an says is correct.” He then qualified his statement, “In those societies, not here in New Zealand”

How quickly fools and idiots forget. That’s if they got it in the first place.

    • And, those were the good old days when we never quite understood the degree of such hatred to homosexuals and the depth of dogma inherent in the medieval stance. In context now it all makes sense.

Talking about the good old days…what chance of that interview happening nowdays?
Very little it you ask me. Anyone going to a programme head outlining such an interview would be told: ‘ Are you fucking joking. We would be crucified.’

          One person out of ???

Do you think that all Baptists think it’s all right to digitally penetrate 11 year old girls because Graham Capill did ?

A judge once said that a woman who was beaten up by her de facto partner was no good because she was just living with him. Do you think that all judges think this way ?

Or that all Pacific Island MPs are fraudsters because Taito Philip Field was ?

The Bible also says that gays should be given the death penalty-I think by stoning, but I’m not sure of that.

            Thomas Sowell:

1- If you are not prepared to use force to defend civilization, then be prepared to accept barbarism.

2- It takes considerable knowledge just to realize the extent of your own ignorance.

3- Socialism in general has a record of failure so blatant that only an intellectual could ignore or evade it.

A list of your sins, Kitty. If your attitude and beliefs just effected you, I wouldn’t give a flying fig. But people like you, and your attitude, will eventually effect my life.

One has a Knighthood and the other survived and is flourishing.

That’s Rightie power, Blazer. Although sometimes things go wrong. The contractor for the Lodge hit Peter’s instead of the Maori Party. Oh, well, you can’t win them all.

Wouldn’t want to be the contractor. Unilateral interpretation of an agreement is not tolerated.

Let that hate out, Blazer. Petes post has set you up for a cathartic release.
That should keep you in balance for a while, and it will be invaluable should Princess have a bad first-up debate.
