You might meet a lot less Maori racists if you didn’t keep monster-stomping around glaring at, & picking fights with, every Maori who you think might be smaller than you, bro?

People should think about this. If we had had a referendum on gay marriage, the legislation would not have been passed. Most would say thank god that didn’t happen here; we are enlightened. Then if you asked these same people ”do they believe in democracy?” they would answer” but of course.”

Sometimes the government has to show leadership and move ahead of general population. I don’t think this is undemocratic, they have been democratically elected, if the population doesn’t like it they can vote them out next time. If we held a vote on every move the government made there would be paralysis.

Legalisation of same sex marriages hasn’t caused the world to end, I doubt that it occupies much of the average person’s time. Many more serious issues facing us like housing and health that make a real difference in people’s lives. It probably on matters to gays/lesbians and the extreme nay sayers.

Corky should just thank his lucky stars the government hasn’t yet banned fkn whingeing. Or he’d likely disappear – & we’d probably never hear from him again. All that would be left would be the footprints & the myths. 😐

I suppose that mindless bigotry can’t be legislated against.

So same-sex couples can now marry ? I’m glad for them.

” If we held a vote on every move the government made there would be paralysis.”

`True..but this was a major issue/shift on how society and the family functiones. Centuries of social fabric altered in one swipe

‘Legalisation of same sex marriages hasn’t caused the world to end, I doubt that it occupies much of the average person’s time. ‘

True again. Apart from radical conservatives and rugby players, no one gives a stuff. But that doesn’t mean they would have voted for gay marriage. Why,? because subconsciously they know it is wrong in the biological sense. It offers our species little chance of survival.

People who have no problem with gay marriage certainly can have a problems with children brought up by gay parents, transgender issues, gay indoctrinations of school children, filthy
sex themed books considered acceptable for school children, gay adoption and gay militancy. In other words cause and effect doesn’t register with many people.

Wet rag James Shaw is an example ,on reflection, of someone who has had few male attributes instilled in him. How could it be otherwise?

Have we ever had a child beaten to death by their same sex parents? I think that heterosexual men have a monopoly in this area.

I don’t think that Shaw’s mother’s domestic arrangements have much of a bearing on things and bringing it up reflects poorly on the people doing it.

I have to say, I think he might be a bit more susceptible to being bossed around by ladies than say I am. Not that I always mind it. I married a gorgeous bossy lady & it paid off lots at times. Mind you, she married a good for nothing guitar-playing lazy-ass lotus eater & she got pleasantly surprised quite frequently too!

          Female + female = 0
          Female + (female + male) = +1

On assumes that there was a male involved at one stage, maybe he has had some input into his upbringing.

”Have we ever had a child beaten to death by their same sex parents? I think that heterosexual men have a monopoly in this area.”

If we go down that road of reasoning, lets ask how many European children have been beaten to death.

”I don’t think that Shaw’s mother’s domestic arrangements have much of a bearing on things and bringing it up reflects poorly on the people doing it.”

It has everything to do with it. Chidren learn from parents, or lack of parents. How can James learn male attitudes without a male. You can’t. That is in no way a reflection on his parents.

Be most interested to see you thoughtfully cobble together and then post a list of all the particular *male attributes* you were thinking of when you said that, Corks?

Are you man enough? That’s the question. We’ll see … 🤔

When was the last time that children were given porn to read at school ?

If people can be turned gay, why can’t gays be turned into straights when straights are the majority and straight relationships are seen as the norm ? Gay militancy & indoctrination ? Old cliche.Who’s doing the indoctrination ? Where ? When ?

Women have killed children, Patz. it’s not 100% men by any means. The killers of Nia Glassie and Moko were both men and women.

No doubt about it, Jacinda is a toxic commodity for the well being of New Zealanders.

Don’t be so silly. There are ways for patients to be transported home, they are not chucked out on the street.

Was granddad an inpatient or out-patient ? If he was an in-patient, this seems odd, if he was an outpatient, it seems much less so. I find it hard to imagine that someone would be pulled out of bed at 11.30 and told to go with no warning. More details, please, Miss Arden.

           /  September 13, 2017

It sounds as if he was in A & E and not in a ward, and if this was so, that makes a real difference. She seems to be gliding over a few facts-the hospital does not just chuck people out like that.

           /  September 13, 2017

“There are ways for patients to be transported home, they are not chucked out on the street.”

Neil David Jones was dumped in a BUS SHELTER by security staff because the doctor caring for him believed he was “looking for a free ride”.

Nurses and security both challenged the doctor saying he was clearly too ill and had nowhere to live, but were told to remove him from the hospital.

Two days later the 47-year-old was dead.

Clearly this DHB didn’t get your memo.

          • Kitty Catkin

             /  September 14, 2017

I have never claimed to have written memos to a DHB, which is why they didn’t get one from me.

This man died of alcoholic liver disease, according to the coroner; he drank three litres of vodka a day. He had a partner; why didn’t she come and fetch him ? There are shuttle buses available to transport people. Yes, there seem to have been breakdowns in communication and care, but the hospital is not the place for an alcoholic to stay in. Hospitals are not rehab centres.

Anyone who drinks that amount is beyond being saved, their body is too damaged.

The word ‘dumped’ is, of course, emotive and designed to make the action look callous.

‘An expert in Chinese intelligence Peter Mattis told Newsroom from the US that someone who attended and then taught at the Air Force Engineering College and attended the language institute would almost certainly have been an officer in China’s PLA and member of the Communist Party. ‘….The list MP Jian Yang did not mention in his work or political CVs a decade he spent in the People’s Liberation Army-Air Force Engineering College or the Luoyang language institute run by China’s equivalent of the United States National Security Agency.

That agency, the Third Department, conducts spying activities for China.
‘He was hand-picked by National Party president Peter Goodfellow to become an MP on its list in 2011, wooed directly by the former Prime Minister John Key and has been a key fundraiser for National among the Chinese community in Auckland.’NEWSROOM.

Women, especially mothers hurting children are the exception rather than the rule.

Personally I think you are either straight or gay, women’s sexuality maybe slightly more fluid
than men’s. Most people would rather be “normal” which would make it easy to fit in. I can’t see many people being homosexual just for the sake of it, but most who are homosexual just want to get on with their lives.
