I see Harvey Weinstein has been expelled from the Motion Picture Academy. From my perspective I have more respect for Harvey than the hypocritical worthless prats who are clamouring to put the boot in. At least Harvey did something…he sexually abused women.
Conversely those liberal SJW Hollywood stars did nothing while the innocent were hurt.

What’s that story about Christ telling a woman that the prostitute she was criticising will inherit the Kingdom of God before her?

Harvey’s brother was the biggest joke. Apparently he didn’t know what a monster Harvey was. Really.!?

Did Christ have another story, you know one about being so fearful of telling the truth that one shuts up? Or another, about the human weakness of not wanting run the risk of sacrificing oneself to save another? Or yet another about putting the boot into some victim who for whatever reason is finally in the position to tell all?

I wonder if the relationship any of those starlets with Weinstein could be equated to that of the waitress getting a job at the palace of Kim Jong-il?

I’m not an expert on the bible, he may have said those things.. Jesus also said go and sin no more. Once this scandal blows over Hollywood will be back to normal… Trump bashing, Tibet, refugees and adopting black babies to go with whatever is in vogue at the moment.

Do you have brothers, Corks? Out of interest.

Damn, this is how I should have worded my top post. Alas, as Gezza has noted, I don’t quite have the intellectual ability. Still, it’s the thought that counts, even if the gift is the equivalent of a $2 shop purchase…….damn again!

I had a quick shufti at a couple of paras. I must agree. You do lack SB’s sophistication with vitriol, but what you lack in that area you can be happy you certainly make up for with plenty of shilling for the place Corks.

            • If you’re thinking of the passage in Matthew, Cork, you are confusing two stories-look them up, I can’t remember chapter and verse.

Uncookedsem…from TS..nails the lie swallowed by the gullible year in..and year..out..
‘The rich are “job creators,” we’ve told you. The more money and incentives we wealthy few have to invest in creating jobs, the better the economy is for everybody—especially you.

    That’s a lie.

There is is simply no empirical evidence nor plausible economic mechanism to support the claim that cutting top tax rates spurs economic growth.”

You may be right Lurchy. Jacinda has been winking, while ex NZ1ST memebers have stated Peters will need to take into account many have voted for change. Add that to his musings about this being the hardest political decision of his life, and I can confidently tell you, unlike you, I don’t have a fugging clue.

    YNZ POSTER SURVEY

Do you know any people who regularly offend & insult people and who say “I don’t pussy foot around worrying about hurting people’s stupid feelings & upsetting them, that’s their pansy ego problem, I’m direct me, I just tell it like it is, & if they don’t like it – tuff biscuits!”
    (or similar).

And who then, when someone does it back to them, get all upset cos that person just hurt their feelings, & their ego didn’t like it?

    (No names though.)

    Yes – Uptick

    No – Downtick

Has Wishart gone fundamental on us, or does he know stuff?

    ”The NZ Suffrage Myth

Kiwi suffragette Kate Sheppard got a bit of airtime in the lead-up to the election, but she’d probably be spinning in her grave to see the mythology that has built up around her feats. While every NZ high school and university teaches that NZ was the first place to give women the vote, the truth is we were not – not by a long shot.

This is not to criticise Sheppard – she did a stunning job – but she used the evidence we have presented here to change the minds of politicians here. Should we keep telling the world a story that isn’t true, or should we more honestly reflect Sheppard’s work? Read the story and decide for yourself.”

You may have to pay to read the story, I don’t know, I haven’t checked. It may be on his web page.

But this is sacrilege..what, not the first country in the world to give shelias the vote?

Hard to say Corky. It’s Wishart. He believes the Bible. Authorship of that is dodgy – although the historical aspects of some of it are a good read, more or less – but great chunks of it are patently ridiculous, as you know. So … you know … ring … ring – anybody home?

He could just have swallowed any old wives tale from some plonker or ne’er do well trying to make a name for himself among the alt Right set hook line & sinker. My gut feeling is it’ll be rubbish, or a real stretch to say it was women voting for anything comparable. Or so long ago & in a time & place so far away it’s hardly relevant to Kate Sheppard’s situation.

      • We were the first country, One US state had it, I think Wyoming, but not the whole country. Australia claims it, but that’s a lie.

Of course, it was not Kate Sheppard alone, and to only name her is a bit of a slap in the face for all the others.

Ian Wishart used to sign himself ‘Wishart’. It’s news to me that he’s Lord Wishart, Only peers of the realm are entitled to sign themselves surname only.

        • And I’m buggered if I’ll pay to read something wrong that I can read the truth about for nothing on my own bookshelves.

Kitty seems to have a big library on every issue known to man. I have a 10, 000 book library( at last count) but 10 grand of books isn’t even a drop in the ocean of knowledge.

    Thank god for… WISHART.

I didn’t say that Corks. About the Housing Corp Tenants. You can’t just make shit up & call yourself a truth-teller. People can go and read it & go – fk’s he bangin on about?? Nothing of the sort. And then they start to question everything you say because now you’ve got a reputation as a bullshitter.
Have a think. Get back to me if you need me to clarify anything. Always happy to talk man to man as it were rather than thru intermediaries who could get it wrong passing on the message.

Also I know it’s a bit late but I’ve got a lemon fish fillet & I’m thinking of cooking it & having it now as brain food.

What’s a good recipe – in one of your books – something quick & easy preferred if possible?

            Gezza / October 14, 2017

”When people tell me they are moving on for a fresh start, I tell them they are full of bs.

They become offended and ask why. I tell most of them-80%- it’s not a fresh start they need, but a change of attitude towards people and life. Otherwise what’s the point of moving? That fresh start will become stale again as they repeat the same mistakes.

            Their usual reply is, eh?”

Why in God’s name did you think it a brilliant idea to invent that whole load of obvious, utter bulldust, just so you could slag off Housing Corp tenants

               /  October 17, 2017

Where am i “accusing you of telling Housing Corp tenants they need a change of attitude” in there?

And why don’t you post the rest of it – the stuff you posted after you foolishly tried to make it sound like people actually ask you for advice on how to be a better person – just so you could set it up to let you get into the real intent of the post which was to put the boot into someone as usual?

Re the lemon fish fillet, if it means going off & finding a recipe book under a stack of metaphysical journals, never mind – don’t go to any trouble. I’ll just brush it with olive oil & give it a minute in the sandwich press.

👍🏼 Squeeze of lemon, dash of pepper, salt to bring out the flavour & juiciness. All done! Bloody nice Corks. Melt in mouth. Give ya some if I could.
