These kind of stories are an almost daily occurrence, but this is a first in terms of who the passengers of the coach were. Bad Luck for the two guys, good luck for UK authorities.

They say timing is everything, Missy. One more minute under the bus and these guys may have snuck out, mingled with the crowd and made it.

Many do manage to get away. There was a story a week or two ago where the guys almost got away, the bus was stopped at services, and the driver forgot something and turned back, just as the guys tried to run, he tackled one, tripped the other, locked them in the bus and called the police.

The funniest story was a while back where a couple of guys stowed away in Lille I think, and when the bus stopped the got out and demanded to know if they were in England – they were still in France. Dimwits didn’t even realise they had only been about 45 mins or so travelling instead of the couple of hours it should have been.
