I don’t know why NZ First was against them.

I think its because they support Public Education, as priority.. not private. Move the focus back to EDUCATION first, not corporate profits !

I think it’s because there were probably a few votes in it from people with an axe to grind against other parties who were for it & against it.

Check their policy. They are not opposed to them in principle. But have proposed an entirely appropriate alternative.

“The figures, compiled by PNG, show the highest groups of detainees on Manus Island are Iranians, Afghans.”

Sorry no way. Nothing to do with religion.

Politically motivated digital news manipulation is potentially a serious threat to a free democracy and far greater than miniscule Russian influences:

RNZ Checkpoint presenter John Campbell has been named Presenter of the Year at a prestigious global broadcasting awards ceremony in London.

Campbell took out the award at the Association for International Broadcasting (AIB) Awards, held earlier this morning.

Interestingly (possibly) I happened to ask the tuakana – who’s generally a bit of a lefty- what he thought of John Campbell, earlier this evening, in an iMessage chat. He proffered following assessment:

“Campbell is a sickeningly cloying liberal media 1.5 generation Pommy wannabe Kiwi #@!% * ”

*(I dare not post the last word, but mum would not have approved)

Who’s got it in for my dear departed mum ! 😡

You don’t have to agree with him. Why should anyone bother paying any attention to someone who threw their best shoes into the toilet minutes before they were due to leave for the church for my christening?

              As far as I’m concerned, he hasn’t changed, & I certainly don’t.

I missed this earlier but it is a pretty good commentary. It shows how well NZ has been doing and serves as a marker to measure how badly Labour screws ud up from here.

It is quite a benign commentary from someone who actually does know what he is talking about.[Deleted.]

Show ‘Uncle Alan’ a little respect please Blazer. I saw that comment before it was ‘culled’.

Both God & Pete know. Arguing moderation ‘in thread’ is not only pointless, it also encourages the moderator to be a lot more ‘ruthless’, the next time you offend 😀

Your sense of humour is a little too heavily weighted towards the “roast” side. It doesn’t always come off as funny. I missed it but that would be my guess why you are puzzled with some deletions. Use those emojis more.

really..saying Al doesn’t know what he is talking about is quite..tame..its almost a guaranteed criticism of all posters in all discussion here.

            • Gezza

               /  November 2, 2017

Certainly is a criticism made of just about everybody for some posters. No names though.
