Reminds me of that saying – “Only a mother could love it”. ‘It’ being some neanderthal looking bruiser.

I have a book in which the author is veddy, veddy pwecious about these people being called Neandertals, not Neanderthals as everyone else calls them. I don’t suppose that they would care which it was, It’s a good book apart from that :-/

I missed the supermoon, we had some cloud and it was hidden. Someone who did see it that it was beautiful and lit up the room. I went out several times before accepting defeat.

Nothing would induce me to eat KFC, even when I ate meat I found it greasy and didn’t like it, but their new ad which shows a youngish man with a large puku eating it would be a turnoff anyway. Eat KFC, have a belly like this.

I wonder if it’s more cynical than that. Perhaps they are specifically targeting those who are overweight and are trying to increase their “market share” amongst this group.

That’s not cynical at all, phantom snowflake, that’s just standard business ‘ethics’ and demand manipulation …

Nope. If you’ve found a commune that works, stay there!

Oh, surely not-I hadn’t thought of that. There were three fatties who took up most of the bench at the bus stop today-I mean really obese people. A slender Filipino girl was able to sit between two of them and someone else was sitting at right angles…those of us who arrived after that didn’t have a chance. One man needed a walking frame. There is surely no need for anyone to be that fat-and I speak as someone who has been very fat at times, just never as fat as that, thank goodness.

I remember a children’s book that my brother read which had an elephant getting into a bath upon which ‘most of the water got out’ 😀
