A report in The Times today says that the Ministry of Defence has said that the Chancellor is not allowed to fly in any of its aircraft until Treasury have paid a six figure bill for his previous flights taken.

This is just another move in the stand off between treasury and the MoD as the Chancellor tries to bring in more cuts to the Armed Forces. Some are saying that it is a double standard for the Chancellor to say the Armed Forces don’t need any money, but willingly use their resources without paying for them.
