  1. Forced patriotism…

    …and religiously devisive.

      Hmmm..many would agree with Pete.

From Ben Johnson…”Patriotism is the last refuge of a scoundrel.”

Similarly, from Thoreau, “Patriotism is a maggot in their heads.”

George Bernard Shaw has said…”You’ll never have a quiet world till you knock the patriotism out of the human race.”

Oscar Wilde said “Patriotism is the virtue of the vicious.”

Leo Tolstoy described patriotism as “the principle that will justify the training of wholesale murderers”.

Gustave Herve calls patriotism “a superstition, one far more injurious, brutal and inhumane than religion”. Patriotism, he said, is artificially created and maintained through a network of lies and falsehoods. It is a superstition that has robbed man of his dignity, self-respect and increased his arrogance and conceit.

As a young socialist I would’ve agreed with all the above definitions. I have since changed my tune because I see patriotism as the only true shield against the malevolent designs of liberalism. Liberals like to mould or destroy anything that is an impediment to their grand designs. But they can do little with patriots. Transgender issues are non existent in the bible belt. Patriotism is only a problem when it becomes blind. Then it is no better than liberalism.

God bless the American way and President Trump. A man who is DOING SOMETHING!!!

      • “A man who is DOING SOMETHING!!!”

I guess trying to force conformity to his way of thinking something.

He can’t force anything in reality But his actions are now speaking louder than his rhetoric. I wonder how many Americans now realise the last 8 years under Obama were a total waste of time?

Muslims and their liberal apologists bringing their sickness and Jew hating to our beautiful country. We welcome them, and they repay us for our generosity.

Please allow me to apologise to everybody for your inability to comprehend what this protest was about.

There’s many ways we may view this protest:

    1- The issue being protested.
2- The tone of the protest ( what is the vibe/)
3- Auxiliary issues added as part of the protest.

Lets take point two..and play the clip.

I have now done this. The vibe is that the people shown taking part in a peaceful protest are voicing their opposition to the decision by Donald Trump to move the US Embassy to Jerusalem, which is understandable because they appear to believe, on reasonable grounds, that this will strengthen the resolve of the Zionists in the Israeli government to deprive Palestinians of more of their land, including in Jerusalem (where they are granted few permits to build & they lose their houses if they leave them for any length of time) & to deny them the ability to have East Jerusalem as their capital of a separate Palestinian state.

I think it is important that the matter of a separate Palestinian state is resolved properly & carefully, which among other things will require both sides to allow the return of their exiled peoples from both their diasporas. This will I hope ultimately make it easier for Muslims to stay in Muslim countries, where I think they belong, rather than coming here or to other non-Muslim countries, where I think they don’t belong, unless & until they abandon their foolish medieval religion.

Unfortunately it seems Americans have been long conned into seeing only the Israeli Zionists’s perspective on matters in Palestine, because of the wealthy US Zionists’ endless lobbying & bottomless pit of funding for US Christian Representatives. & Trump has now finally succumbed to Bibi’s blandishments, no doubt encouraged by his dodgy son-in-law & daughter, who would all no doubt have found it very easy to exploit his narcissism, & his likely wilful complete ignorance of many important matters relevant in such a complex issue.

(It would probably greatly help matters if the Jews would grow up & abandon their Equally foolish Bronze Age religion, & if the same were to happen with the followers of the other offshoot, the equally absurd Iron Age Christian one. If these two still widely-believed fairy stories didn’t exist, Muhammad would’ve had nothing to work with, & we wouldn’t have these deluded religious fanatics murdering each other in the name of their non-existent deities.)

Please let me apologise again to everybody, this time for the obscurity of your comment above. What is the point you were trying (& failing) to make?
