Jerusalem was never Israel’s to take, and it was never trump’s to give.

The Palestinians and many of their supporters in the Arab and Islamic world should actually be thanking Trump. He’s finally put an end to the charade and made it clear to the world that the United States was never an honest broker mediating between Israel and the Palestinians. It will never advance international resolutions that run counter to Israel’s interests, and will never strive to end the occupation and grant Palestinians the right to self-determination, other than in accordance with Israeli demands. That’s the reality.

If a sovereign nation declares a specific city as its capital, who the hell is any other country to say otherwise?

The embassies are in Tel Aviv, not because Tel Aviv is the capital, but because it’s currently safer for embassy staff to work.

FFS, Jacinda meddling in Australia, other Middle eastern counties and their western apologists meddling in Israel – all Trump has done is affirm the bleeding obvious.

Christians and Muslims “unite”? Then neither understand the central tenants of the faith they hold to be true.

I think they do understand the tenants. Also the tenets.

”Palestinian Christians and Muslims unite against Trump’s Jerusalem.”

Then what happens? When I attended a Palestinian protest in New Zealand there was a Palestinian Christian with a placard that read ” Palestinian Christians also die.” Not one Muslim protester stood near him. I was about to speak to him when my cuzzie, an invited speaker, hit the stage, did some weird stuff to impress the Muslims, then told the audience Maori throughout Aotearoa supported Palestine because ‘ Mardee’ had been through a similar experience.

A two state peace deal isn’t possible with Palestine. Best Israel takes most of Palestinian territories and drive them out. Of course Israel won’t. And in a hundred years time someone
somewhere on a blog will say something similar.

Maybe you should read my comments above, The same Muslims who gave the Christian a cold shoulder would probably be there. Are you nuts? Only a Lefty would do that. Why don’t you get your missus to go with you to your local mosque? Oh, sorry, she wouldn’t be allowed in.

Jerusalem is important to Jews, Christians & Muslims, it should be an independent international city
