Professional fundraisers keep $9 out of every $10 generated by Virginia outfit that’s now entering politics.

“The U.S. Supreme Court has ruled that it’s not against the law for telemarketers to keep most of the donations they raise, as long as they don’t lie about how the money is going to be used, said Jim Sheehan, head of the charities bureau for the office of New York Attorney General Eric T. Schneiderman.
From the charitable entrepreneurs’ perspective, there’s no downside. Whatever money they get is gravy,” Sheehan said. But at some point, “the gifts to the charitable activity are so low, it’s a fraud.”

Meanwhile America’s war torn vets who are homeless and debilitated by going to do their duty are shate upon from a great height. Disgusting charities who do this Should be had up for fraud. America land of the greedy alright.

We started donating to Barnardos through a guy who knocked on our door a few years back.
Once it was set up and we had made a few payments I read the small print on the DD we had set up.
Basically almost 100% of the first 2 years of donations were going to go to the crowd signing up donations before Barnardos started getting the money.
We cancelled immediately and will probably never donate to them again for allowing such a rort.
We are careful to check exactly who received the money now when we donate.
Fundraising is a ripe area for rip off unfortunately and NZ is definitely not immune.

“The lawsuit states players were “apparently … following the lead of Colin Kaepernick by disrespecting the flag, the Anthem, the USA and those who have served and are serving the USA in our military.””

I don’t think the players are disrespecting the flag, the anthem or service men & women, they do have an issue with the way blacks are being treated in the US.

They are disrespecting the flag etc. That is the whole point of their “protests”, its straight out of the marxist/communist playbook – disrupt, destabilise the target society’s social cohesion via agitprop targeting its cultural institutions. The communist Gramscii called it the “Long March through the Institutions” – a strategy he developed after observing the failure of Communism’s tentacles to reach out and flip Western Europe, Britain and the USA.

It’s ironic that after the defeat of Marxism and the collapse of the Communist bloc, the ideology has spread like a virus from the Marxist hold outs in certain University Departments into the mainstream social and political institutions – Hollywood, Silicon Valley, Washing DC, Alphabet News etc.

If kneeling down while the anthem is played is enough to destabilize a country it must already be on its last legs.

Cameron Slater shows where his interests lie. This demonstrates another dimension in our multicultural society. Not everyone can be satisfied so it will come down to those with the money to buy influence and those who are part of the long march through the institutions [Spoonley, Kim Hill RNZ types]

Surprisingly few countries have restrictions on foreign ownership, although a few have tightened rules very recently.
Slater is correct in that cutting out a category of owner at a time when sales are already stalling could tip the market into a crash.
Whether that situation currently exists or not is very debatable though.

            surely a measly 3% of buyers wouldn’t tip the market into…a crash.Bol.

The changing face of New Zealand
From Nine To Noon, 11:28 am on 10 October 2017

The year they are predicting Asians will supercede Moari is 2023. So the recent population growth (immigration) is bringing those tipping points forward.
Ryan: Weve had four years of record high. And that was not anticipated.
Are we pretty much now just about the most diverse country on earth?

Spoonley: Absolutely we are. One of the key elements of those projections is the growth of the Asian populations (and I want to pluralise that). And when you look at the country or a city like Auckland it is much higher than any comparative city. Not Vancouver, Vancouver is higher. But in terms of a city like Sydeny then the proportion of Aucklands population that is predicted to be Asian is quite a bit higher than those type of cities. And by the way, we track across to London and we think, gosh, we are in quite a multicultural place here, but when you look at the total Asian population, the proportion relative to the local population we still beat them.

The reduction of the Maori to a position as one of many minorities negates their status as the people of the land … new immigrants have no commitment to the treaty.’

The people of New Zealand have already opted for zero population growth by limiting family size to an average of 2.1 children. That intuitive decision of the people to balance human reproduction with the internal resources of the country is being contradicted by the government determining unilaterally to mount a pro-active immigration policy. Their consent is manufactured by silencing critics with the argument that skilled and entrepreneurial migrants will promote economic growth and create jobs. Throughout the three years that this mantra was being recited, there were continuous redundancies in forestry, mining, television, railways, freezing works and telecom-munications. Despite that evidence, journalists used this well-rehearsed government mantra as a riposte against critics of immigration. If they persist, then their opposition is construed as racially motivated since over 50 percent of migrants are visibly Asian.

RNZ has been on the wrong side of this argument so now they have to create a diversion. All of a sudden the charter calls for Guyon Espiner to “wind people up” and lets do a series on the Maori wars.

“The people of New Zealand have already opted for zero population growth by limiting family size to an average of 2.1 children.”

That is way way way out of date, white NZ population birth rate has collapsed. We are disappearing and being replaced by 3rd Worlders.

Feminism/Progressivism is a sure fire way to kill off your tribe’s future as females are educated and sent into the workforce.

The females then have few kids if any, and when they do, its later in life when chances that the baby is born with abnormalities are dramatically increased.

And to top it off, the obesity epidemic will produce more deformed babies as there is now a very strong link between fat women and their babies suffering birth defects.

      Way to go Western Civilisation.

What’s this, a new spin on the old “good cop bad cop” routine …?

      Good pox bad pox?

“The reduction of the Maori to a position as one of many minorities negates their status as the people of the land …” OMG … YOU WISH!!!???

” … new immigrants have no commitment to the treaty.” ….. TOUGH! They’re covered by it anyhow …

As for ‘the long march through institutions’, has it ever crossed your mind that Rudi Dutschke’s 1967 assertion may also have been wishful thinking on his part? And that his ‘Long March’ idea has actually been co-opted by the very cultural hegemony – ruling class – Gramsci originally identified as manipulating “the beliefs, explanations, perceptions, values, and mores” of society?

That ‘The Long March’ has become one of those manipulations? A kind of ‘ghost in the machine’ public enemy #1 who you can never quite put a name to, and who never really show their faces … McCarthy’s communists … Modern day ‘witches’ for burning at the ruling elite’s stake after ‘examination’ by the Right-wing media/social media ‘Inquisition’?

If they’re so scarey, where the f^*k are they? Still waiting to be ‘activated’ 50 years after the call to lay down arms?

If they went underground (or undercover) in 1968, how come they didn’t emerge in 1988 to properly counteract Rogerednomics or in 1998 to stop the peak suicide rate attributable to Ruthanasia IMHO? Like … who the fu#k are they?

Gareth Morgan? Gee, here’s a guy who marched his way through ‘free market’ institutions directly founded upon ‘deregulation’ and ‘economic reform’, only to finally reveal himself as a really being socialist ‘mole’ all along …

Or … maybe he saw where neoliberal capitalism was going and its inevitable outcomes, and just wants to prevent it getting any worse? Maybe even make it a bit better? He wants to live in a world where he doesn’t have to put an electrified barbed-wire fence around his home because of the iniquitous inequality of it all … literally, the cultural hegemony of it all!

Maybe he acted for himself … like I have … rather than being the puppet of some ludicrous ideological ‘tunneling’ operation!?

Your routine is pure slapstick …

Bernard Orsman-‘The Wynyard Basin decision carries a price tag of $124 million plus $18m to relocate tenants and landowners.

The council is also looking to spend a further $260 million on a range of waterfront and CBD projects for the 36th America’s Cup and Apec events in 2021. Of this, $80m is budgeted and $180m has to be found in the new 10-year budget’…$382 mil there plus the appearance fee of $80mil!!??
