Scandalous. Trump – Russian collusion continues unchecked. Where is Mueller?:

Putin said that he doubted Trump would be able to improve relations between their two countries because the US President was being held back by his political opposition, and allegations of Russian interference in the 2016 US Presidential election were being invented to raise doubts about Trump’s legitimacy.

Remember, this is all coming from Sarah Huckabee Sanders, Trump’s chief Press Secretary & faithful cheerleader, who often ends up trying to tell the Press that what Trump actually said is really quite different to what Trump … um … actually said. And remember when Trump told the Press last year during his campaign that Putin had said he was brilliant (or some similar typically glowing self-praise), when it was later established that the Russian word Putin had used is more accurately translated in English as “colourful”.

As I’ve said before, however, I don’t believe Trump colluded with Russia. Putin knows how to get what he wants out of Trump by playing to his narcissism.

But apart than that – I think it very likely they will continue to cooperate in the area of sharing intelligence & warnings on the activities of Islamic terrorists because they are a curse & a danger to everyone, including their own, ie other deluded followers of the many different sects of Islam.

Just shows what an empty farce the Mueller witch hunt is.

Maybe. But I don’t mind, tbh. If Trump doesn’t like it he can always sack him, and/or start his own investigation into Clinton. Why should we care? The most important thing imo is that the US ends up with a normal, reasonably well-balanced human being as President next election & Trump will only be a one-termer & get the boot as just too divisive.

No, we had that in Obama and he left the world in a mess. The most important thing is that the US continues to clean up itself and the messes Obama created elsewhere. The food fights between Trump and the Left are unimportant distractions.

I disagree. They are important distractions. Anything that helps ginally completely unhinge Trump before the next Presidential election is a good thing.

Ok, they are important distractions because as Mefro noted last night in one of his rare sensible observations they left Trump in control of the substantive policies and the Left flailing at windmills.

I accept your sideswipe concession in the spirit it was intended Al.

              Splendid. Carry on, Trumpy.
