Comments worth more exposure may be repeated as posts.Comments from other forums can be repeated here, cut and paste is fine.

Your NZ is a mostly political and social issues blog but not limited to that, and views from anywhere on the political spectrum are welcome. Some ground rules:

  • If possible support arguments, news, points or opinions with links to sources and facts.
  • Please don’t post anything illegal, potentially defamatory or abusive.

FIRST TIME COMMENTERS: Due to abuse by a few first comments under any ID will park in moderation until released (as soon as possible but it can sometimes take a while).

Sometimes comments will go into moderation or spam automatically due to mistyped ID, too many links (>4), or trigger text or other at risk criteria.

Free speech is an important principle here but some people who might pose a risk to the site will have to keep going through moderation due to abuses by a small number of malicious people.

  1. A fascinating insight into the modern workplace, Millennials, social media and addictions.

That’s not an insight, it’s an opinion-and an unoriginal one.

Good to see a feral being dealt to. Unfortunately, I wouldn’t have helped. I used to be a staunch supporter of the police. But when they charged a gun shop owner and a farmer with criminal offences simply for the act defending their lives and property; all respect went out the window. I believe you can be charged for not providing help to a Police officer if they ask.

😕 Probably let you off with a warning once you explain the problem. 👍🏼

What sort of person would walk past a situation like that and not lift a finger ?
Never mind, I think I know.

Someone with principals and is prepared to stand for something. May I suggest you stick to being a grammar prat.

I see Kitty smelt a a rat. Maybe I underestimated her. Still, another insight into the Leftie mindset following on from yesterday.

And may I suggest that you buy a dictionary (and learn that spelling and grammar are not the same thing) so that you will learn the difference between principals and principles ?

            Questions end with a ?

I assume that you meant principles, but it’s an odd set of principles that would allow someone to walk past a situation like this and leave the person to be beaten up at worst or a criminal (who could be a rapist or murderer) to escape at best.

For evidence we are culturally worlds apart from china, look no further than the latest craze sweeping the country. The ‘surrogate drinker’.

Just download an app and forthcometh an ‘olympian on the drinking battlefield’ who is prepared to get pissed on your behalf!

😐 There’s Markets for you. Someone can always find a product or service somebody will pay for I guess. 😕

Why get an app for this when we’re already paying a raft of politicians to get pissed on our behalf though? 😳

In the US, you can pay to have a hangover cured or at least alleviated for a large amount of money-they come to you, give you this and that and there you are.

I have a guaranteed way of avoiding hangovers-don’t get drunk in the first place. It’s a lot cheaper than paying a vast amount both to acquire it and cure it.
