  1. Raining here and we’re glad of it. Long may this gentle water wash our fields and gardens and I hope you’re all getting done if you need it

Oh, stop showing off. Just because you’re having rain and we have had a tiny bit of drizzle (accompanied by humidity) , you have to rub our noses in it.

Wait until the next time I have a box of chocolates and see how many you get.

Please note that I have refrained from downticking-I am not jealous of your rain, it’s a reflection from the screen that makes me look that green colour.

We’ve had some rain-gentle rain, not a deluge that just runs off.

We had thunder today but virtually no rain-it’s very humid. The dog hates thunder, of course, so I am trying to make it all right by playing games and giving him treats when it’s happening…a poodle breeder in Christchurch taught her poodles (and to her surprise herself) to stop fearing aftershocks by making them the signals for fun. She would sing and play with them and they stopped being afraid quite soon. Aftershocks-wuff, wuff, party time !

I was most unimpressed that a German band patented the name Moahunters so that the original ones had to change it. Mean buggers.

That’s a typical Kitty. .faux pas. .muddled and inaccurate.

Man, that’s outrageous. How can anybody copyright someone’s personal name anywhere so that they can’t use it on anything they author or produce.

I blame capitalism! But then again I would, wouldn’t I? I think I read that the movie Moana had to be retitled for its German release.

Copyright or trademark? I can’t see how it could be enforceable as copyright.

The Herald article says copyrighted but you’re right, Al, it’s trademarked in Germany. Also in China.

Oh ? I read that it was Moahunters, which seemed a bit odd, but explained the name change.
