On white evangelical support of Trump

At a glance I presumed this tweet was from Fox but isn’t:

Who needs sex when you have Twitter. President Trumpy is OK, like the preacher man says.

another specious TDS commentary from Franklin Graham.

Clinton entered the White House in 1993 but his affair with Lewinsky wasn’t revealed until 1998 (and look at the display of hissing cockroach outrage from the Republicans over that)

Kennedy’s affairs while president were first openly reported on and talked about in 1975, but he was assassinated in 1963

Johnson’s affair with Madeleine Brown lasted from 1948 to 1967 but was first publicly talked about only in 1982

Perhaps Graham should wait a few years before pontificating on trump’s sex life – after all we’re only just learning now about trump’s 2011 affair with a porn star

correcting the last line – trump’s affair was in 2006 – Daniels went public in 2011…

Franklin Graham: Trump stopped sinning when he became President.
Bullshit. He bears false witness on a regular basis.

And lo, trump took these evangelists to a very high mountain and showed them all the kingdoms of the world and their splendour. “I will give you power over all this,” he said, “if you will bow down, worship, serve and follow me.”

And they replied, “Yea verily, what does it profit a man to save his soul when such riches are to be had?”

And, one by one, they bowed down, worshiped, served, and followed him.

Then every desert was called a lake for the people to drink from.

Are really you talking of evangelists, or have you mixed them up with SJWs worshipping at the heathen idol of nihilism?

SJWs worshipping at the heathen idol of nihilism?” Classic example of “Word Salad“, Corky: “Word salad is language with meaningless, scrambled words. It is a “confused or unintelligible mixture of seemingly random words and phrases”. ‘Word salad’ is most often used for a symptom of a neurological or mental disorder.”

Word salads. I like them. Green salads or fruit salads or Word salads, I’m not fussy.

”SJWs worshipping at the heathen idol of nihilism?”

Take your pick of heathen idols. There are so many. The litany is great with the word ”white” emphasised.

Conservatives worship at the heathen idol of….. Mammon.

I tell you the truth, it is hard for a rich man to enter the kingdom of heaven. Again I tell you, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God.

Does Mr Graham think that only sex is a sin ?

I would say that Trump displays several of the Seven Deadly Sins-Pride, Greed, Anger, Lust, Gluttonly, Sloth, Envy….well, all of them, really,

Then you are mistaken. Liberals must control freedom to implement their ideology. Socialism 101. Free people can chose whether to support the community, or not..

For Pete’s sake, get a grip. Or you will start going around in circles like Snowy. Lordy, how you will handle a possible 40 degrees next week?

              Tintin’s Snowy ? AKA Milou.

I bet that you don’t know what Tintin’s real name is,

It’s been 36o here and 90% humidity, You get a grip in that. (faints)

The difference between 36o and 40o may not be all that noticeable, I have been in 40o in Christchurch-and they had that hot wind blowing, It was like a giant hair dryer,

TinTin is now politically incorrect because of the way ‘darkies’ are portrayed. And Peppa Pig has entered into a lesbian relationship.
Please don’t put Pete’s blog at risk.

Tintin is still in print, so he can’t be that unacceptable, Many of his characters are caricatures-Captain Haddock, the Thompson twins. The number of blacks in them is very small. I doubt if the blog will be at risk because of a mention of Tintin. Or Peppa Pig, whoever that is.

Whataboutism (also known as whataboutery) is a variant of the tu quoque logical fallacy that attempts to discredit an opponent’s position by charging them with hypocrisy without directly refuting or disproving their argument, which is particularly associated with Soviet and Russian propaganda.

I can’t believe how daft Trump’s statements look in print-they contradict each other in so many cases ! The man is a complete fantasist.

Jared Kushner’s father seems to be an unsavoury character-did time for tax cheating, tried to set his brother-in-law up with a prostitute to make a scandal because he was going to testify,

Actually it’s you indulging in distraction, Griff. This post is such banal idiocy I attempted to put up something actually new, factual and interesting. But you prefer distraction. Or go ahead and evangelical drivel if you insist. I don’t see why I should if you won’t.
