‘“A worldwide debt binge could trigger the next financial crisis, warns former Bank of England governor Lord King.
King said it was essential to tackle the global debt pile, which stands at £166 trillion ($321t), according to the Washington-based Institute of International Finance.
“The areas of weakness in the current system are really focused on the amount of debt that exists, not just in the US and UK but across the world,” King said.
“Debt in the private sector relative to GDP is higher now than it was in 2007, and of course public debt is even higher still.”
    $321,000,000,000,000.

I watched TV3 news item, last evening; Natl party conference.. it seems that they are all ‘united’, BUT the one who was ‘concerning’ was the ‘newly trimmed down’ Paula. I wonder what she is on (or inhaling) ? She seemed very ‘hyped up’ with very WIDE eyes ! :/ 😀

Just watching some highlights of the Winter Olympic opening.. Korea marching together as ‘one country’. It was interesting to see M Pense (USA VP) totally ignoring Mr Kim’s sister… maybe showing what their real agenda is.. POWER games !? :/

Yes … or maybe FEAR games … Regardless of how ‘socialism’ or ‘communism’ has been manifested in the world SO FAR … (and corporate-capitalism has little to be proud of in that regard either) … Nothing frightens a corporate-capitalist like the idea of communality … community … democratic socialism … social democracy … egalitarianism …

What utter drivel. You’re degenerating in to a caricature of what you once were….
